  1. The foam does compress rather quickly in the mk1 pads. I put a new pair on mine shortly after buying the headphones and the pads needed to be replaced in slightly over a year. Though the O2 were pretty much the only thing I listened to in that time. edit: coming up on my two year anniversary of O2 mk1 ownership
  2. Is that you Rudistorr?
  3. Raccoons could be planning a coup to become the top of the food chain. I for one, welcome our new overlords.
  4. Oh god so much effort, so much effort *cries*
  5. Is anyone using ipeng to control their Squeezebox/Transporter/Duet? The last posts on this program are from 2008.
  6. Knowing my Stax and Sennheisers are being caressed by these supple, tight connectors puts my mind at ease and reminds me of better times
  7. Alice Cooper - Love It To Death AF
  8. Photo snob
  9. It's possible to rip DVD-A discs depending on the copy protection used and the type of lossless encoding is on the stereo layer. If any Windows users are interested I have a guide/program pack, though it's still quite a chore.
  10. Eyjafjallajoekull- what a great name Good to hear no one was hurt.
  11. You can't buy MK1 pads anymore but they were about 6000 JPY, MK2 pads are 8800 JPY I got mine from Kuboten.
  12. I am an unapologetic Wu Tang fanboy so I recommend Raekwon's latest album- Only Built For Cuban Lynx Part 2. It is one of my favorite rap albums of the 00s.
  13. Clipse Hell Hath No Fury has been in heavy rotation in my car. I can't get into their new album \
  14. SR-007A pads ftw! Go Elephas rage against the Stax thread Probably also explains why the SR-007A pads cost so much more than MK1 pads in Japan. Toot toot all aboard the leather train
  15. HE60 guys, go easy on Mike with the jokes ok
  16. Happy birthday smegs!!
  17. Happy birthday Al!
  18. I remember when I was crazy enough to nearly buy a Litespeed hard tail frame (mountain). Now audio gear and music bleeds me
  19. No, but I will try that. On the SUT there is only a ground lug on the input side.
  20. Bleh I'm getting crazy hum with postjack's Cinemag SUT no matter where I place it, with various cables and with the ground lift on and off. Did anyone else that had this on loan have problems? I think it's a "commercially" built one and I think it worked fine for postjack.
  21. Conan on Fox would be so wrong if it happens \
  22. I found this neat tool that generates an arc protractor for your tonearm once you specify spindle to pivot distance. Does Loefgren A/B and Stevenson. http://home.comcast.net/~drnath/e/1.exe

    Canjam 2010.

I did a road trip to Chicago from NH with a friend and it was pretty fun. The drive isn't that bad with two people.
  24. Have you tried Zupreme or Sumiko HS-12?
  25. Ahh my resident DL-103 fan I will give Stevenson a try tomorrow.
