The CDs in the box set are the remix. The original mix can be found on the first and second Japan pressing CDs. And the first pressing USA CD. All them use the same mastering and don't sound good compared to the vinyl in this box.
The problem I had is they are so damn heavy. Even with a fixed headband they don't distribute the weight well. Other wise my "bass heavy" pair of K340 were pretty good for certain music in short periods of listening.
One of them Dennin 50th anniversary headphone amps with a headphone socket in the front. Don't be plugging your electrotricalstatic phones that Dennin though.
I am blown away how clear the original mix of Bitches Brew sounds on vinyl. This mix was always pretty muddy, but using the original master tape must have really helped in making it sound so clear. I'm pretty damn impressed
I think I get 3-4 years out of a pair of Rockports. That is fine with me since I usually walk 2-4 miles every day indoors so I don't expect them to last forever.
Even your hat made of aluminum and JFETs will not keep you safe
Correct this has never happened. If it has it is mind trickery and/or effects of alcohol.
That is so bizarre two different versions of the RP-18
The treble really is non-existent on the RP-18 I owned. I played a bunch of recordings and entire instruments completely disappeared. How the hell NAD sold these abominations is beyond me.
