I'm in. Although last year the CD I sent didn't arrive until like February. Some weeks after the replacement. Oh how we laughed. Ho ho ho.

Where's the damn plane.....
I think that it's still in a depot in Canada. Maybe trapped under a pile of Beano annuals.

Happy Veterans Day
In memory of those who did not return. This Remembrance day is the first once since WW1 where there now remain no surviving British soldiers. The last two of those living emblems of history died in the last 6 months or so. Henry Allingham and Harry Patch. Aged 113 and 111 respectively. There now remain only three surviving veterans from World War One who can be accounted for. One British-Austrailian Chief Demolition Officer, Seaman Claude Choules. One non-combat Canadian-American Sergeant John Babcock. and American transport-trooper Corporal Frank Buckles. Never Forget.

So long as it's not peach or lemon flavoured or hypersaturated with sugar or HFCS then you don't lose so many points. Plain iced tea is lovely.

Only a coffee drinking American would ever insult the real brew in such a manner. Tea is to be stirred with a teaspoon, clockwise. And the milk goes in afterwards unless you live in the 18th century.

If I'm in good shape I dread to think what bad shape is. I'm hugely unfit. I get a stitch when I stir my tea.

Should I Get an HD600?
So long as you don't get the K701. I say buy whatever you like on whatever whim you can afford. HD600 are nice. But SR-202 are nicer.

1) Those shelves were clearly not strong enough for the loads they were under. Besides it was just vodka. Not something precious like gin. 2) If she read the news on my local station, I'd still be nitpicking her pronounciation and cadence. 3) Anyone else reminded of the forklift truck driver klaus video?

The analog thread.
I was scratching my head. That thing is 0.18 Tice at most surely? But then we have the metric Tice over here in Europeland

Symphones "MAGNUM" pre-order and discount
Based on my current time waiting on a Canada post item, people are going to have to leave these headphones to their music nerd nephews. This is a situation where if I were a buyer in the crowd of people I'd be cautioning patience. One foul-up which effects the outgoing items en masse looks disasterous but could be just an unforseen complication by a start up which is jumping in the deep end with the distribution. I'd certainly rather that be the case than there be an actual gigantic balls-up which is going to lead to pain, misery, frustration and anger. as far as the "reversing the mods". The description of what is done does sound long and involved and may be a large portion of marketing schpieil.

Post the last thing you bought!
The 6000 is legend, but still suffered from the massively wrong decision to go with FSAA instead of hardware T&L.

Got to have an avatar change from time to time! The HD800 is technically marvelous. It just didn't please me.- The Headcase Stax thread
I like the HP2 and the RS-2! HA! But then I also like the Triport and the NS1000 and the Float 2 and I'm not so keen on the K1000 and the HD800. - The Headcase Stax thread
