With normal burn in of Nenso LE, the youngling blossoms into a real reference level protable gem. On the 31338th hour, there is a bit cleaner, clearer, more "transparent", has greater impact, more distinct separation/delineation of performers and instruments, and better description of the shape/physical volume/material of instruments. Only after the extra burn-in hours to compensate the freeze-in side effects of cryo treatment will Nenso LE mature into the tiniest gem that he is capable of being. Upon post-procedural audition, one finds a complicated/textural hint of juniper in the upper mids, as well as a remarkably layered imaging, lucidity through the extended highs, excellent weight&body to instruments, most complete/complex waveforms for the most complete notes (drums sound most like real drums, as do cymbals, wood-bodied instruments, stringed instruments, etc., etc.) The area of improvement from complete burn-in that is most striking is the erasure of Nenso LE's lack of warm and "body" to vocal throat and chest resonances; it was as if through extensive burn-in, the "boy" matured into a "man."

LOLLERIZATION

Instead of paying a thousand bucks to juice up an ipod with an additional dose of imperceptible "sound quality" you can probably buy a ue11... I own an ipod photo, and heard a 4g imod and 5g imod in one sitting with assorted imod lod cables. I did not have the same holy experience as all the numerous other people who bought and bought into the imod. You pay 250 bucks for a "mod" that is less of a "mod" than the 200 dollar 4g imod. Then you are bound to get an expensive cable to link to the capacitor, and another cable that links to the amp. You will end up spending a boatload of money just to avoid the "piece of shit caps" inside the ipod, just so you can send the signal an additional length thousands of times longer than before, through the air unshielded, multiple solder joints and wire types, and then through a capacitor that is minutely better than the stock junk. Then the signal goes through more jacks, solder joints, wires, and then finally reaches an amp. Not fun.

Compared to this yes The sf5p's don't need an amp unless you get noise, and with ipods they are fine. I think if you sell off all those audio technicas and random greydoughs and get one of those WOOD or ZOMG LEATHER ones people are crazy about that sound godlike better because dead tree pieces or dead cow skin is stretched all over it would be a fun plan. I meant the Extreme for $999 + Shipping? Aren't those "stock" and not "to order" so maybe he wouldn't have to take months to "customize?" I know sp is now turned into a built to order deal, but when the extreme was released not long ago I remember there were two distinct versions for 999 and 1899 or something like that and was under the impression that they are ready to be sold or at least ready to be built quickly in numbers...

In foobar, it doesn't matter the audio file type, whether flac or alac or mp3 or image file. As long as your music is ultimately grouped in album folders, foobar will display the art by looking at the location of the file, and using the album art that is in the same directory as the file. Have a .jpg cover art file, and name it folder.jpg, then place this file in the album folder. Like so. .../Album/ Track 1.m4a Track 2.m4a cover.jpg
