Ah fucking shit. I don't need this right now. It has been dropping calls like crazy, now it won't connect to the internet for more than a minute at a time, text messages don't work, I spent an hour on the phone with advanced tech support with Sprint, and even tried a hard reset, setting it back to factory defaults. No dice. Pretty much the antenna connection is physically fucked. Upside of this is that it's an excuse to upgrade. The tech set me up with an Exchange service ticket, so I'll have to go to a Sprint store service center and see if I can just plop down $55 towards another phone. Since the 6700 is discontinued, I think I'll get either the HTC Touch or the Mogul. Unfortunately the Mogul's Bluetooth stack is gimped right now. But I really would like a real thumbboard rather than the iPhone-ish touch screen one in the Touch. But the Touch apparently has more RAM and Storage ROM. Decisions Decisions. I'll just have to play with them in the store and see/feel which one is right for me. Either way, I'm going to miss my fugly brick 6700 and it's ability to tether at will with impunity. It will take 3rd party apps and hacking to get it to work with the Touch or Mogul. -Ed

Hmmm. Not a bad idea at all. I keep my R10's in a clear plastic enclosure. I live in Southern California, so humidity is not a big concern for me. Although with natural materials like wood and leather, being too dry could be a problem as well. I do live close to the ocean, but not so close where I'd have to worry about salt corrosion (I used to live a couple of feet from the beach, and everything that could rust did so very quickly.)

I think I'm officially done with the multiplayer, pretty much maxed out at Colonel II (Lv41). Only thing left is the Barrett 50 Cal Sniper, and I didn't like it all that much. It looks and sounds cool, but it's just too innaccurate. Besides, I'm a total Shotgun Whore now with the M1014. Don't know why they made it full auto, since the real thing is semi-auto. But whatever, it's a great room clearing tool. I loooooove it when people camp out in a building now. Now the Martydom Ass Grenades are just plain retarded. -Ed

It's been quite some time since the rumors of the O3 coming out. I guess that is as likely as a Senn HD700/750/800whatever coming out next year. But probably more likely than Sennheiser doing another electrostatic can.

Wow, it IS like Headwize all over again. Head-Fi is still down? So does this mean that Head-case will be the new Head-Fi? Or the old Head-Fi since some people don't like the new Head-Fi and would rather have the old Head-Fi which is not really like the old Headwize, but the new Headwize is really now only a small part of the new Head-Fi is, which of course is still a small part of what the old Head-Fi was and is, or will it be if the database is screwed up again, how far will it go back, will we have the new, yet old Head-Fi back or the old Head-Fi back, which will still be new to many people except the old skool folks which still remember the old Headwize yet still visit the new and smaller Headwize, but then again Head-case is still pretty small but has grown quite a lot recently.... Uh OK, my Head hurts now....
