But if you're patient (about once a week), you'll at least find 1 or 2 60/80Gb go for $350 with a game or two, sometimes even with an extra controller. Or you can go for the 80Gb for $400, which is the deal you can find daily.

$400 is not enough. Ken charges extra for one off cables, so expect it to be at least $600.

There's quite a bit of snow here in Manhattan. It's snowing pretty fucking hard. I'm look out the window on the 46th floor of the MetLife building in midtown east and it's not letting up. I think I'll take off a little early to try and get home at a decent time. Last week when it snowed just a little bit, it took me about 3x the time it usually does to get home. =T

My friend bought a 60Gb for $330 the other day.

From what I understand, there's no official news about the 80Gb being discontinued. It was leaked that Best Buy and a bunch of other stores will not be receiving any new 80Gb models after the last batch, so people assumed the 80Gb was cancelled.

Did you try the olive foams? The one thing I loved about the E500's were the design. They sit flush and are perfectly comfortable when lying down in your bed.
