Sous vide chicken breasts on rice with a mushroom/ sherry sauce. Juiciest, tastiest chicken I've ever eaten. Though the sauce looks hideous.

Let the water ovening continue. NY strip for me and sirloin strip for Debbie. After sear with asparagus and raspberry sauce. A bit more than medium rare but very juicy and delicious. A great first try at steak.

I agree regarding Massa. If Bottas had enough to pass him, do it. If he didn't have enough skill to get around Massa, he sure as heck wasn't going to get around Button. A good race for Lewis and all the proof I need that Ferrari should not be in the hands of the Italians. Think they can coax Ross Brawn back out of retirement??

A simple beef stew that includes a bottle of Founders Imperial Stout.

Did our first run with the Anova tonight. Boneless pork chops with two sprigs of rosemary for two hours at 137, then seared in a hot cast iron pan. Juicy and delicious. We are convinced. Oh, and Debbie made some kick ass roasted Brussels sprouts. Yum!

Ok, this looks like a bandwagon worth jumping on. Will probably order the Anova and a food sealer tonight.

I just ordered a Music Hall MMF 2.2 with an Ortofon 2M Blue. It requires a different counterweight to support the Ortofon, and I added a Music Hall cork mat. $684 out the door from NeedleDoctor. I did a fair amount of research before going this route. My Emotiva USP-1 preamp has the phono stage. I should have it this week and then can post impressions. My previous TT was a Dual with the Ortofon 2M Red.

We'll hit Whole Foods before the next batch as they have a better kale selection.

Al, is there a particular type of kale you've used? Debbie is less fond of the "curly" style we've used so far but it's all that's been available unless we roam far afield.
