I don't know didley about audio schematics and such but I get along well with just about everyone......Then again I drink heavy and keep a collection of extremely sharp chef knives. I guess there is room for everyone here.

Fitz, might I recommend a spider cage with an electric door hooked up to your alarm clock. When the alarm goes off the door to the spider cage opens and the tarantula is free to roam. Should work from day one at getting you up on time.
