What are you drinking now, pt 2.
Valdez Pinot followed up with a 2007 Howel Mountain Merlot from La Jota Vineyards while listening to Emily play Carol Of The Bells. I love live music especially in our living room, and for this time of year it is so comforting. Cheers all, and safe travels....

Dinny, how was the Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Cab? I have loved just about every Cab I have had that was sourced from there.

Sonic Studio 302 (aka Metric Halo ULN-2)
Yeah, I used the TRS to XLR connectors when I was using my monoblocks but since the monos were in the amp hospital I was using the tube amp which only has RCA connectors. This tube amp is the one you repaired for me Steve. Both amps sound really nice with their respective connectors with very low noise floor to me.

Wow, how did I miss that. I think I will give them a call tomorrow to find out why, and I may end up ordering some custom cables.

Why not a TS to RCA cable? Is there any sonic benefit to using a TRS with the ring disconnected versus the TS connector? This configuration seems to work fine for my application (which is a tube amp with RCA inputs not a GS-1)

You might consider http://www.sweetwate...e/detail/DKQR5/ or https://eventhorizon...roducts_id=3050 I have had good results with both. Oh, and I think you want a TS to RCA cable because TRS is a balanced connector and RCA is unbalanced.

Mistakenly posted in the "Deals" thread but still applies here. Tojiro 210mm Gyuto. Very nice blade geometry and white steel, what more could you want in an everyday chef knife. Sharpens easily and quickly, much better to work with than the crappy Henckels. http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/chefknivestogo_2178_39950788

What are you drinking now, pt 2.
I have a few stashed Mikey so I am having one per year of these to evaluate how well they age in the bottle. And yes this puppy could and would taste very nice in twelve years, if I can resist the temptation. I also have a case of the well received 2006 Cardinale which will sit for another five years before I start sampling.

Chris, I am sure you know this but you see the little box in the lower left hand corner of this picture? The "22-37 lbs" refers to baby size not diaper capacity.
