But the isolation is amazing (prob due to the waffle pads). It's better than some of the NC headphones i've tried in that regard.

So I went back to the mall today to buy some pants and stopped by the apple store to do the little comparo between the triports and the b&w's. Quick summary: b&w isolate way better than the triports but they do sound worse than the triports. The b&w's are just not transparent.

I think so? I dont think I can make a fair assessment until I listen to more of it (like how tigers must try every ice cream flavor to know which one they like), but I like most of what I've heard.

They are sibilant off most amps Ive tried but off Colin's amp, it did not sound sibilant at all. I still think its an amp matching problem.
