at first no i didnt, its like after i deleted itunes from win7 and tried to reinstall on the other drive something or some itunes files where still around and stopping a fresh install.

well i had a issue with letting itunes know to use only the one drive and not the c drive. i got fed up with it so i redid everything in Raid 0! the speed is amazing fast! and yes i do backups of my stuff weekly so data integ is not the most important thing to me. the problem i had with itunes was this. i am downloading itunes and setting it up as normal. then i close it and delete the "itunes" file so i can replace it from my backup (this way you keep date added, playlists, etc). the first time around it worked but i noticed later i had the library on the c drive, when i tried to move the library it did not want to go there. so i deleted itunes and reinstalled it on the other drive as orignally planned, but it still didn't want to keep the date added when i loaded it in. throw in my patience level i have now with everything i just reloaded windows with both drives working in raid 0... and i am glad i did cause it is that fast! this is my first computer i put together and it went smooth as cake, minus my patience levels..haha i rather run the power supply at lower levels so it does just that as mirumu stated, exactly how German car companies build their engines, over build them to what they will be run at. seriously you guys helped out major! from dustys talk about cpu's to mirmu talk about power supplies..every comment helped in a major way!

I just wanted to thank everyone for their advice, this past weekend i had to get away from the stress so i build my new pc. I built it in mind that i would be oc'ing it in the long run so i amped up the specs on some stuff. rite now as it stands.. i7 920 Asus p6t ocz gold ddr3 1600 ramm times 6 gigs Sapphire ati 5750 2 seagate 1tb drives (one for music/movies only) corsair 850 ps thermaltake v9 black case thermaltake v1 cpu cooler sony blueray rom 2 speed tsst drdw with light scribe windows 7 pro x64 if it was not for you people in the thread i would be nowhere knowing on what to buy, so thank you very much! i want this machine to be good for another 5-6 years, thats why i put in a huge power supply incase i add more video later. the 1600 ramm and cpu cooler is for future over clocking. i may add another 6gigs of ramm later once i have more money. i looked heavy into using raid but i see no major advantage using it for me personally btw: this is my first post on any forums from the new machine! yay!

my impressions of the new iphone os and itunes 9, also people please note there is an update for the apple remote app..so if you dont do updates often get on it so you can have the newest remote update for use with itunes 9. first off iTunes 9 is a true hit with me and how i use my itunes and ipod/iphones for pleasure and my job..remember i do make profit using itunes. home sharing for me means i can automatic update my netbook i use to dj on the weekends wireless a easily from my home computer. before if i would add 800 songs on my home computer it would be a pain in the butt to load them to the netbook..easiest way was just do a full itunes library backup then reload all of it on the netbook, this ment updates for the netbooks library would not come often and i would be forced to tell people "i have not updated this machine i use to dj yet but expect the song to be here next week" which was not good for profits. now its a easy breeze and i can even update the netbook daily if i am doing lots of converting on the home pc. home sharing is great for HTPC's you may use in the front room for movies/tv shows or even a cheap small pc used in a listening rig in another room. as some of you mentioned before with the mac mini use just with a cheaper pc used as the same. genius mixes are a cool idea now but it's to early for apple to roll out a good setup of them. Genius function is a major function i use at the bar, at home and in the car..i love it. but the mixes function is not correct as regular genius is now, for example the music it picks for the genre's is totally off at times. i choose the "Italian mix" (i have over 500 Italian genre songs) but it picks songs completely out of the mix like Blondie's heart of Glass or Elton johns Candle in the wind..WTF do those songs have anything to do with any Italian music note ever written? these songs are CORRECTLY genre tagged btw. if you want a better version of what the Genius mixes then just create a smart playlist, sort by Genre, and then put on Shuffle...ipod classic users have to do this cause Genius Function is not available for the classic 120. i will admit the "Easy Listening" genius mix is pretty spot on, so i am sure it will get better with time. shit someone is calling...will be back later...let me know what your all seeing with what i talked about above..

i have the bx8a (older style) and love them. i would tell him to listen to the newer version of these along with the Mackies posted above, only problem i see with the Mackies is the Freq range compared to the bx8's..still he should listen to both in life first.
