Helped out my friend Steve, who showed up earlier than I expected him. Developed a nasty headache. Politely declined to attend a trip to the strip club with my housemate, the other Steve, and a bunch of the diner staff. Completely and utterly failed to rewire this gorgeous art deco lamp/sculpture. Buy whatever Canon PowerShot you can afford, get it in a brick & mortar store, and buy an extended warranty. I prefer ones that run on rechargeable batteries vs. AAs (unless you want to futz with rechargheable AAs.) Buy the memory card online, probably from NewEgg.
