Jeez, as if it weren't horrifying enough.
  3. But has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

  5. Me neither. It would've really been cool to have been able to do this:
  6. It's held together fine so far. No issues today after running some errands followed by a bunch of WOT pulls, and sounds as good as ever over 4k. Woohoo.
  7. Second test gave me ISTJ instead of ISTP. But the P/J is pretty marginal on both.

    It's working for me too.

    And I only noticed Miku.
  10. Thought I had my car all up an running again yesterday, went around and did some nice pulls on the straight roads and trekked around the windy, hilly backroads as the sun was setting, only for the water pump & power steering pump belt tensioner to break off on the way back. That was a long and difficult journey home (frequent stops to prevent overheating, can barely take any turns, got a good workout though). Replaced the tensioner today with a junkyard one which I hope lasts some amount of time (bearings are slightly noisy on it, but it turns smooth).
  11. ISTP Suggested careers... auto repair, computer repair, electronics technician. Yep.
  12. Finally got far enough with my car to start putting things back together and hopefully finish dealing with it today, and I realize the replacement belt for the one they sent the wrong part is STILL WRONG. Jesus christ, how fucking hard is it to read part number?!

Of course it's not the guys that show some skin. :/
  14. Spent the afternoon at the junkyard getting some timing gears to convert my car from the square tooth timing belt to the round tooth one with 100k lifespan instead of 60k.

    Pfft.
  16. Tornadoes fucked up the DFW area. Hope they're all safe, Vicki.
  17. After three days of blood, sweat, tears, and some newly invented profanity while trying nearly every method to pull this damn gear off, I decided to go the destructive route and finally got it off. The problem: The solution: No wonder it didn't want to come off:
  18. Spent most of the day trying to get the timing gear off my crankshaft. Stupid thing is stuck on there good, and I don't want to have to destroy it and buy a new one if I don't have to.
  19. I'm going to see what they have to say, but if not, yes, that's the plan. And holy carp was the crankshaft pulley hard to get off. I had to go buy a new 700ft/lb impact wrench to loosen the bolt, and even that took a full minute before it started turning, and then actually getting it off the crankshaft was a whole other level.
  20. Doing the timing belt job on my car... found out Nissan sent the wrong alternator belt. The packaging is labelled correctly, but the belt in it is different.

And I thought that franchise couldn't get any better...
  22. Having a nice dinner with my family after a really shit day.
  23. How do they compare to the handheld frother?
  24. Fitz replied to swt61's topic in Headphones
    Yeah, why not both?
