  1. Considering that perfection is an ideal and doesn't exist in real life, you'll always be disappointed. This is especially true in hand made, limited edition items.
  2. I forgot. Chicago is in Illinois.
  3. I hope that article is edited better than the PI CanJam report was.
  4. I don't know. Terms that end in "-fi" are not very popular here.
  5. Could you get him to break and replace my Extreme so I can buy a Balancing Act?
  6. almost perfect == a little pregnant
  7. I'm there too.
  8. Let's see. You are "HeadAmp" and monsters have heads. Uh oh. But not their sponsor money.
  9. Welcome Steve and sorry about your thin skin. St. Jacob? It has a, well interesting, ring to it.
  10. I'd guess about a 5 year's supply of fresh bread.
  11. The serial number on my box had just the right number of numerals. I would think that yours does too. On the other hand, I still don't have an email back from Sennheiser with the frequency curves.
  12. How about "Monster Cable CanJam presented by Monster Energy Drinks"?
  13. Happy Birthday Lily! :prettyprincess:
  14. Sorry about your thin skin.
  15. Jim, you're still wild about Dino. Wow, that's amore.
  16. Oops, you're right. I guess Bench something or other would have to be close enough.
  17. I find the RS-1 and HF-2 to be quite different. For me, listening to the RS-1 is akin to having hot needles repeatedly stuck into my ear drums. The HF-2 is much more like the old HP-1000 series. It's very balanced and only slightly warm. I prefer it to the new PS-1000, which to me has way too much bass. At the HF-2's price, it's quite a deal IMO. However, I did get an HD800 too.
  18. For at least a couple of days.
  19. I really liked the music listening to HeadRoom's balanced HD 800 and their Ultra stack. So this looks like a good purchase to me. If I needed a DAC, I'd call dibs on it.
  20. Except the one of me, of course. I just don't know why they all come out like that.
  21. I was tempted to show the Benchmark table my Benchmark product, which I bought on Peter's recommendation. They probably wouldn't have been amused when I showed them my Benchmark Mini-griptilian knife.
  22. Free equipment is always decent. Get it, listen to it and Audoigone it if you don't like it.
  23. Eric Alexander Quartet - Lazy Afternoon ~ Gentle Ballads IV This is one of six CDs that I bought from Hajime@Eastwind at CanJam. Sorry for the small image, it was the only one I could find.
  24. Where do you live in MA, Andrew. When I lived in Waltham and Acton from 1980 through 1985, the Winecellar of Silene in Waltham was my favorite wine store.
  25. OneCall.com has a weekend special on the VIERA 46". Here is the info.
