  1. I'm more interested in ear protection from babies.
  2. I saw Stax Teflon normal and pro bias jacks on AliExpress about a week ago, but now can find only the 5 pin pro model. http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Teflon-Chassis-Jack-for-Stax-Headphones/1386475435.html You might try checking there occasionally,or directly inquire with the vendor.
  3. I saw that from Kerry, too. Along with several others. Can we confirm this the final spec? Also, I wanted a little more headroom on the low voltage taps for the drop out on the Golden Reference LV.
  4. I sent them 2 emails with no reply. Been talking with Mike at Custom Magnetics about a custom R Core. He answered back, no problem, saying customers liked their audio R Cores. Quoted $110 for 1, $95 for 10+ Based on standard R80 core. I may have underspec'ed the transformer as similar to my KGST, not taking into account the higher current of the Carbon. Primary: 115VAC x 2 (50-60hz) Secondaries: 360VAC@100mA x 2; 18VAC@200mA x 2 Electrostatically shielded with ground wire 10 inch lead wires If I can get solid spec's for the Carbon transformer, will get the quote updated and posted here.
  5. I would be interested in a board set and caps.
  6. Exactly right. The heaters take a while to warm up for the tubes to start conducting.
  7. Thanks for working with Kevin to make sure these caps work in the latest PS PCBs. I was going by earlier info posted on the other thread. No doubt $12 for this capacitor is a great deal. Just not exactly what I thought it was, expecting a 4 pole type. I'm still in, can always upgrade to Mundorfs later.
  8. From the spec sheet, these look like conventional 2 pin electrolytics with 2 extra NC pins. Does not seem to offer the benefit of separate ground returns like Mundorf and Jensen 4 pole caps. Also the pin pattern is different than the Mundorf 4 pin caps that the PCBs were designed for.
  9. Are the FT the same height as the Mundorf?
  10. Really nice build. Especially the small size and the minimalist design.
  11. My quantites are correct. Ready to send $ via Paypal Gift as soon as you are ready. This is one hell of a job you've taken on. A big thank you.
  12. I'm in for 8 Mundorf caps. Makes it an even 100. How many until we get a quantity break?
  13. Thanks in advance for not sourcing the Carbon PCBs from these guys.
  14. I was unsuccessful in searching for the schematic. Which are the feedback resistors that set the output?
  15. Be sure to leave the Yggy powered on 24/7 for all those 15 trial days, then decide to keep or return.
  16. My selections look good. I'd prefer the latest boards with the opto servo.
