I'm embarrassed to admit what I use for a grinder for my French press, but you are smart to grind your own beans, Hop. Beautiful brewer! I'm smitten with beans I've been buying from Double Shot in all of places...Tulsa, OK. The owner is quirky, but knows how to select and roast beans. I receive them a couple of days after roasting. Love me some good coffee. I've also gone down the rabbit hole with cold brew coffee out of Austin that I purchase in a case of tins from Costco. Take a case to work and I enjoy the lower acidity and caffeine kick (supposedly the cold brew process kills less of the vroom vroom). HS

Oh no! I remember listening to AC/DC repeatedly as a young teen walking and riding my BMX bike around a suburb of Chicago. Couldn't get enough of them. Changed the way I looked at music and the style I focused on for a long while. Their tunes suited where I was in life along with a few other hard hitting bands back in the very early '80's. Godspeed, Malcolm... You left a mark on many of us. HS

One issue I hope they addressed was how much sound bled from the stats I tested with my Ygg / Carbon combo. I didn't realize them until I handed them to the gent next to me how loud I must have been blasting the folks next to me. It was literally like having a transistor radio playing. Some bleed on open backed headphones is perfectly natural and acceptable, but this was bordering on ridiculous. I can't speak to the man. Sounds like a great guy. I was simply focusing on the product. I will admit I struggle with all the fan boy crap on HF. Way too much support without sound critical thought IMO, but hey...maybe I'm just an old, crusty hard ass... HS
