I heard the same interview on the BBC service bulletin on NPR, indeed seems that he didn't gave too much info about his sickness and the fast demise came as a surprise to many of his friends. Very sad and he will be missed.

Not tickets for a band, but actually to a kids show. Was tinkering with the idea of getting some tickets today for a show in March. Tickets themselves are pricey enough at $50 each, so put 3 tickets(2 kids plus accompanying) the total price is a whopping $204 after the ticketmaster fees. F that...not happening. Crap, still too young to fade. I have to say that Purple got me through my first winter in US, '94 in Worcester MA. I always thought that ILS/BE were such a brilliant compositions that shone on Weiland pathos, even though he had nothing on the writing of these.... RIP

A bit unrelated, have scheduled the replacement of iSight cameras for both phones here. These are included in the possibly defective batch. I know for sure Julie's camera is wacky. Mine seems fine. After talking with the Apple Store people they actually advice a replacement on both, even if mine appears fine, since they are offering the work under the recall, they advice to just get it done. So have one appointment on for next weekend for one and need to schedule the other one.
