If someone is interested in a trainer for the winter: There is a guy getting rid of Tacx Bushido and Vortex smart trainers for a really good price. I am waiting on one and I have seen people posting about already receiving their units, so it seems legit, but I haven't received my unit (it shipped, should be here this week). I think he still has some of both models. This is the smart version of the trainer that will allow Trainer Road, Zwift, etc to regulate the resistance according to the course/training set. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=3&theater Seller page: https://www.facebook.com/adam.wilk.395?fref=photo

Al, Happy Birthday! Have a great day!

Peter, I honestly used to think I new something about something, right now I realize it was all in my head, I don't know anything about much anything, as evaluated by my jobless situation. Perhaps I should keep quiet and not be blabbering about batteries and leaks...
-
I think the chances of corrosion are pretty slim. Even if the washer uses less water than a conventional upright, we are talking of many thousand fold dilution, even if you were assuming full release of chemicals (which didn't happened). Also the "rate" of release or diffusion of the chemicals from the battery isn't that fast as: 1-the battery shield looked pretty intact, even with that little raised lip in the picture, and 2- the batteries were not sitting there for an extended period, just between loads. So I think you are OK And I think the interior of the washing machines have a protective enamel covering that is relatively sturdy

Ya, no problem! Just get a new remote Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

the amount of water in the washing machine should render any alkaline (or acid in the other circumstance) damage by leakage negligible. As Jacob mentions, you are fine edit: if you'd found them in the dryer, then probably it would be another story...

Ended up doing 68 miles on the trail. Got to an area that was swamp on both sides of the trail. Truly beautiful [emoji7]. Tortoises on the trail, didn't see any alligators though, albeit I am sure they were around. I wanted to keep going a bit farther there, however heard some shots in the distance so exercising common sense turned around real quick. Wonder what were they hunting... Glad to hear about the results Chris! Time to relax now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Keeping my fingers crossed Chris. I am heading out shortly to do some miles on the path. I have to do some research for a "reasonable" road route here in Ocala, but to be honest there are some bike lanes along roads with 55 mph speed limits. People regularly doing 65 and above does not inspire confidence, so boring as it may be, I am sticking to the path... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nice ride Jose! I am sure you had nice views near the coast [emoji1] Have a good ride tomorrow Chris Good luck on getting back on the bike JP#s! Got out today and put in 47 miles on the road bike down on the Florida trail in Ocala. Nice weather. There are a bunch of rainy days in the near future. Hoping weather turns around quickly. I brought the mountain bike as well, that, if the weather holds for the better, will take to the single track area. Actually looking forward to that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
