  1. I like the HT subforum idea. I sort of have a 5.1 stereo (5.1 channel receiver with two speakers) to go with my TV. (the family has taken over, which is why i love headphones)
  2. Happy Birthday!
  3. I don't believe compression is ruining the music industry, but it is interesting that vinyl has seen a resurgence in recent years. I believe there is a time and place for all music formats.
  4. To tell you the truth, I'm sure I would have a hard time differentiating between 320k and FLAC.
  5. I hope you get all these AD1 issues sorted out. Those are definitely not cheap tubes to replace. I am sure Craig will help get all of these issues dealt with. Enjoy your amp, it is as sweet to look at as it is to listen to.
  6. Crap, I better get to the gym right now!
  7. Happy Birthday Jack Enjoy your day!
  8. Dan, Congratulations, that is indeed an awesome amp. Is the tube in the middle crooked or is it just the camera angle? I heard Foo_me's and it is great. I want one but my wallet keeps saying NO.
  9. I really do want to attend this show, it sounds like it should be a blast.
  10. I just picked up my iPhone today I've been waiting for my Verizon plan to expire (yesterday). I ran to the Apple store and picked one up just before they closed. This thing is addicting.
  11. Hi, I joined last.fm can i join the fun. thanks
  12. True, but when you only have 4GB + 8GB cards, you can't carry that many songs using FLAC although FLAC beats WAVs as far as size is concerned. And when I travel, I'm usually not listening critically, so MP3s can work quite well especially for a portable rig.
  13. I heard the AMP3 from Whiplash audio at CanJam and thought it was a nice MP3 player, but at the time I had my iMod so I wasn't so interested. Now that I lost my iMod and pico, the AMP3 may be a nice alternative, it's compact, solid and sounded pretty good at CanJam.
  14. For my next purchase this Sunday, as soon as my contract expires with Verizon Wireless.
  15. Happy Birthday!!!

  17. Happy Birthday!
  18. I've slept with mine in also or worn them for hours. When I take them out, sometimes there seems to be some moisture. Maybe my ears are different It's not enough of a deterrent to keep me from buying some JH13s
  19. Does anyone have moisture building up in their ear after extended listening sessions with their custom IEMs?
  20. As much as I like my UE4 Pros, I want to get the JH13s. After hearing them at CanJam, I need to find a way to get a pair of JH13s. They make music sound the way music should sound, at least to my ears
  21. Who knows, it may have been through Rock Band. I've been through the Beatles Anthology release where they had the master tapes flown from the UK to America in a handcuffed briefcase, the workers in the warehouse had to wear sweats (so they couldn't sneak out any copies), and guards escorting the trucks to the customers.
  22. I'm interested in the vinyl versions, especially since they went with RTI over Rainbo. But I need to find some space for my turntable at the moment.
  23. If anyone had a copy of the remasters before they are supposed to, it would definitely not be taken lightly. Security has always been extremely tight with anything related to the Beatles, extreme security measures such as video cameras everywhere and armed guards, etc. And I'm sure this will be no exception.
  24. I can't wait for these to come out. I haven't heard them, but according to my boss who is a major Beatle maniac, they sound great. He's ordered the mono boxset and is deciding on if he should buy the stereo boxset or discs seperately, because he has the Beatles Box Of Vision on order.
