  1. I can't wait for these to come out. I haven't heard them, but according to my boss who is a major Beatle maniac, they sound great. He's ordered the mono boxset and is deciding on if he should buy the stereo boxset or discs seperately, because he has the Beatles Box Of Vision on order.
  2. I've never heard the Menace, but I'm sure it is incredible. Congrats Todd. I can't wait to see what Nate's next project is.
  3. Sounds like an awesome meet! I'll have to ditch the family and drag my butt up there for the next one
  4. HAPPY, HAPPY B-DAY, TODD Enjoy the day!
  5. Happy Birthday Dan! Enjoy every moment!
  6. Hey Al, I'm sure you're right. It must have been someone's lucky day, just not mine. If I need some tapes, I'll let you know. Thanks for the offer. I'm in Hawaii now. Things are much better after eating at the Diamond Head Market & Grill, really good Kalbi and rice.
  7. Unfortunately, we're outsouring our distribution to Sony, so our warehouse in Camarillo is bare, and we're working on cleaning out the warehouse in Illinois. I did find a Nakamichi MR-1 tape deck that I asked if I could have. After listening to Ti's Nakamichi Dragon at CanJam, I thought I'd give it a listen. I have the Beatles and Paul McCartney on cassette, I'll see how it sounds.
  8. Peter, those are some beautiful photos. I need to learn to take better pictures and get a DSLR.
  9. Yes, I upgraded to a refurbished Sony NWZ-A726 that I picked up at the Sony Outlet today. I am going to Hawaii tomorrow morning and needed some tunes. I'm furiously ripping some music to MP3. I'll probably get an iPhone next month when my cell phone plan expires. c'est la vie
  10. Well if anyone sees an imod for sale that says "Have a Super Fantastic Day" on the back or a pico #37 that has a black body with silver ends (like edwoods). Let me know. Thanks
  11. I was traveling back home on a business trip and put my electronics away which included my imod, pico and x10 headphones into its case. I put it into the pouch in front of my seat and forgot to take it out. I didn't realize I had left it on the plane, until I got home that night I've called the airline baggage service who told me to call lost & found. I called lost & found and left my name, number, description, etc. and the message said they would call if they found my lost article. I don't give it much of a chance of turning up Anyone else have any similar experiences?
  12. Kathy Peck did my impressions at CanJam and my UE4 turned out perfect, great fit. I really like the UE4, but I did listen to the JH13 at CanJam and know what I'm missing
  13. The HF-2 and W5000 are completely different headphones. The HF-2 are open headphones with a good punchy bass, well balanced presentation, smaller headstage. They are definitely more forward sounding than the W5000. To me they are more fun to listen to and sound great with some classic rock. The W5000 are closed and very comfortable to wear, but can have some fit issues depending upon the size of your head. The W5000 are a bit lacking in the bass, so the mids and highs tend to stand out more. The detail retreival is great and work well with classical, some jazz and female vocals. I like them both, but they sound very different.
  14. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GREG, HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!!!
  15. Hey Jack, I don't know much about classical, but if I come across something that I think may interest you I'll send it to you. Unfortunately I'm out of the office most of the month, I'll be in my office one day this month, I'll see what I can find.
  16. Have a Super Fantastic Birthday Justin!
  17. Hey Steve, Welcome to Head-Case, the funner headphone site... It was great meeting you at Can Jam, and yes your R2R kicks ass!
  18. Congratulations, that is a great looking player.
