Apparently adding a second Apple Watch makes notifications fail on both, so I'm having to slum it.

Wait a couple years and the prices will come down on the new ones.

My mother finally got a smartphone (an XR), and had some kind of coupon through her private insurance provider for a free Apple Watch with phone. She didn't want the watch, so now I have both sizes. I prefer the 40mm for every day, but I'm going to like the 44 for running.

I really like the Apple Watch, and it's my most worn watch now, but it doesn't make me feel anything.

I almost always buy watches used. I'll take it off your hand, if it bothers you.

I just looked at your Saxonia pics again. I want one so bad. I could trade for one... I'm thinking about it. Congrats, Dave.

It looks like a good strap, just not the best fit. Maybe on the seiko (which is a nice watch, btw). I think the more sporting strap would look really nice on it.

Well sure, but why put a chunky strap on an ultra-thin watch?

That's not the strap for the Saxonia. Stay with reptile or go with unlined Shell Cordovan, as thin as possible.

I actually like my Tiguan a lot, but I miss the GTI. Same motor in the Tiguan as what my Mk VI had, though.

Meet Mittens and Silver. They already follow me around and jump up next to me. A good sign, I think! Mittens is 8 and Silver is about 18 months. They were living happily together at the SPCA, so I couldn’t break them up

Oh, Colie just got mad at me and called the probation officer, and the probation was revoked (I had copped to disorderly, just to get things over with). Everything is over with and I’m fine. I’m done with Colie.

I got home from jail. 25 days is a lot.

Last night I fell down my friend’s front steps (Amazon delivered a heavy box sometime after 9, right in front of the darkly lit door), leaving me going down about 10 concrete steps, head first. Two cracked ribs, concussion, contusions everywhere, and somehow I seem to have a softball under my lower left back, surrounded by deep purple lines. Of course the hospital I was taken to was outside of my zone. All the police were very nice, and I got a hug from my special case officer after whatever pain meds I was given via IV kicked in. I don’t know what they were, but I slept all Monday. I guess this all counts as having been given a break, really.

I was going to make Mattnog at my friend’s place, but then we tasted this stuff.
