No candied peel at short notice so similarly soaked dried cranberries. Same story for "mixed spice", so mostly Sri Lankan Cinnamon, with a bit of Garam Masala. Orange and Lemon zest in the dough. Glaze was (homemade) orange marmalade diluted with the left overs from the soaking. Using the oven with a pan of water filled from a kettle worked well as a proving oven. Turned out nice.
