  1. That would be awesome. For us cheapasses, all it needs to do is beat the transformer boxes which are going for similar sums.
  2. Mmmmmm, good *and* cheap 'stat amp? ..waits with bated breath..
  3. Looks like my pulse.. Anyway, back on topic. I think you should get some Sony cd3000s and squeeze them real hard into your ears.
  4. Nice, and I hope you get some success with a standalone crossfeed box. That would be outstanding. I like the effect of crossfeed in general but I've yet to hear one that wasn't highly detrimental to the overall sonics.
  5. Sweet! Nice going.
  6. Nice, I may try this later. Minor sidetrack here... How easy would it be to retrofit one of the 3-board backplanes to an existing Beta, like Nate's build above?
  7. Have a great one Naaman!
  8. I use mine for everything I do. I no longer use a desktop at all.
  9. It looks like a cool toy, and the price is certainly nice.

  16. Ah, glorious I'd just try mildly soapy damp cloth for cleaning. Nice to see these elder gentlemen still going strong.
  17. Wow, I thought this was going to be bargain basement.. $500 That is too cool.
  18. moar bullets?
  19. I'll contribute a woody makeover. If anyone wants to contribute a cable to go with it, that'd be good. Doesn't need to be special, just a nicely made miniquad would be ideal.
  20. One more thing, assorted garden clippings in a bag (aka herbal tea) does not = tea. No tea leaves, no tea!
  21. lately I decided to boil my water in the mikeywave, even faster. I found it very quaint to still see stove top kettles everywhere here . Needless to say, I instantly went on the hunt for an electric kettle.
