  1. But how will I know what I want if I don't see it... Yes, I'm a parts grazer who likes looking at shiny things....
  2. is it me or is their website a total fucking waste of time when trying to find anything?
  3. $900 USD, That's a lot of hookers and beer in HK......
  4. I certainly don't wanna hear what's going on in Reks wee brain...
  5. hehe
  6. Duggeh, you did see the Lmbda wedge I made didn't you? Did a great job of making them sound better. I still swapped them though
  7. One thing you can try is K240 or Stax SR-5 pads, either should fit fairly well and you can slip a 5mm thick strip of something under the pad behind your ear for better clearance.
  8. I'm getting the Pico DAC so I think I'll be very happy.
  9. another T50RP
  10. Mine was the Gamma lite (USB only) so mine was ready pretty quickly, about a week. The full versions take longer, I'd guess two weeks or so.
  11. It's funny, MisterX was saying the mini3 is great with low imp cans and the Gamma is great for high imp cans. I tested it and it's true. The Gamma is weak with low imp cans but great with high. The Gamma is actually a nice little amp by itself if you don't mind using your PC to control volume.
  12. Good, now I can stop thinking about letting my K1000 go.
  13. I'm still giggling because they look like a Fisher Price design. Oh well, as long as they sound good. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
  14. I don't want anything that sounds remotely like 404, tried it, didn't like it. Anyway Larry, I only have a SRD-7Mk2 to run stats. Plus, I only have one K1k left as I traded the other for a Beta 22.
  15. Yep, it's small and very nice indeed. It's also great to finally have a simple USB device. Not much I can say aside from you plug it in, it works and sounds very good with the mini3 and orthos. Great VFM!
  16. Have a great birthday Stephen!
  17. I'm sure it sounds great, but like others, I really, really wish Todd would let someone with eyes design the outsides!
  18. a basic case is no trouble, the thing I like about this amp is that it actually looks easy to build, unlike many others
  19. cool, razzing is expected when I'm being dim The kit price looks good, add 2 boards, 2 PSUs and 4 heatsinks right? I hace no idea how much the whole PSU things would cost, I imagine they're way more than the amp bits.
  20. cool, better than girlfriends anyway.. certainly cheaper
  21. Pray tell, what is this little self-valentines present you just got?
  22. DOH! >me dumbass!<
  23. Screw these crappy cans, when is the clipon version of the 800 coming out?
  24. any hints on what the F5 parts cost as shown above for two channels?
