I really like the Retrospective line. I have quite a few bags if you want to try/borrow. ThinkTank Retrospective 10, 20, Streetwalker Pro and Airport; Billingham 225; Tamrac Pro 12; some Crumpler thing. I am sure there are others but I have forgotten what I have.

And now what did you do TODAY?
I could have driven there and arrived 11am. Flying is closer to 4:30 now.

And now what did you do TODAY?
Getting on the plane for the third time today to take this 45 minute flight to NYC.

And now what did you do TODAY?
It is just a little rain. I have been deplaned again.

And now what did you do TODAY?
Still trying to make it to NYC. 8:20 AM flight tried to take off at 9:30, after much negotiation due to over sold seats, only to slam on the brakes half way through take-off. Back to the terminal to sit for an hour before they found another plane to put us on but now NY is on Ground Hold meaning no one can take off until 12:30 at the earliest. I should have driven.

The Official Head-Case Photography Thread.
When I had both the 16-35 and the 35 f1.4 I ended up using the 35 way more often as a walk around lens. Might be different with a crop but 35 worked well as an everything lens and that 1.4 offered some great pics.

I could not live without my Mac Mini music server. It is practically all I use anymore.

Chris, your team was well represented. You had two riders in the breakaway in the Pro race but one died off so your guy couldn't pull off the win against the Ducati team. Pro Race. A little Cervelo Love Team NCVC After coming in Third while leading much of the race. Others. The Winner

The kids race was quite exciting. This little guy managed second place and proceeded to ride back down the hill to help his little sister make it up. She was not liking the climb.

On lunch break from the Tour de Tysons so I thought I would post a few pics from the Cat 5 race. Mostly focused on Chris' team and Cervelo.

I can stay for free at the Marriott so it would probably be worth the inconvenience.

I think the event hotel is all booked so I was looking at a Residence Inn in Sebring. I hadn't looked at Orlando but that looks like I could get cheap direct flights there from DCA.

Looking at the possibility of actually using my travel bike and heading to this Sebring thing. Does one fly into Tampa to get to Sebring?

And now what did you do TODAY?
Internet is kind of slow. I think I need 2-3 more hits.

And now what did you do TODAY?
Comcast was okay when I last had it. The Fios Internet has been quite good though several of my cable boxes don't get all the channels. I unplugged the modem and hit it really hard several times and now it is back to working. I think it just needed some intimidation. I should start a fix-it service.

And now what did you do TODAY?
Came home to find my POS Fios modem is dead but I have been assured I will have a new one within 1-2 weeks. While I continue paying for their shitty 150MB down 50MB up service as well as every channel they offer they can't be bothered to use express shipping.

The lens is a business investment is it not? I seem to recall that she was shooting weddings now so I would typically vote go for the best if not for actual image quality then for the "image" prospective clients are looking for. I am admittedly a snob but I would look at the gear of someone wanting to shoot my wedding and would prefer to see Nikon over Tamron or whatever (actually I would prefer to see Canon but that is another conversation). The Sigma 24-70 is not bad for the money but tends to have a bit of a color shift with the few pictures I have taken with a loaner. Not as accurate as the Nikon, in my opinion. I am always the type that has to buy the best as I will dump a runner up almost immediately because I know there is something better out there.

Cardas...not cables
Looks like the ones Tyll had at RMAF a couple of years ago when he introduced us to someone from Cardas that was showing them off. Sounded decent to me. I wouldn't be able to compare them to their competitors as I have not listened to many universals in a while but I would be happy with what I heard in Colorado.
