Okay rental car is booked so I can go directly to the restaurant and maybe have a chance to eat before we head to Boca. I have to figure out where this Brother Truckers is to determine if it is workable or if I should just head to the Hotel and then straight to the Back Room.

How far is the dinner/concert from the Hotel? Is this something for a cab or will I need a rental car anyway since I am coming in late?

Sorry to hear that Mike. JP let me know if you are short on cars. While I do not get in until 7PM I should have enough Hertz points to pick up some sort of transport if it helps that late in the game.

Yeah, you have a big game this weekend to determine where you end up in the playoffs. One point projected difference between you and Raffy. Nate has a 70+ point projected win over Sherwood so it would be a huge upset if he fell so it will end up with the loser of your game taking the fourth place spot. I am just hoping to take the win and ride a 7 game win streak into the playoffs.

Yeah, you started really strong but faded down the stretch. You still have a shot of taking the consolation bracket. That Forsett pick up should be a good one as he has a pretty easy schedule from here on out and has played well enough to take over that position, even if Jones is back. Would have been an even better pick up two weeks ago.

Well we are approaching the playoffs. Obviously top 4 teams play in the winners bracket while everyone else competes for the consolation bracket. Actually ended up with a pretty competitive season here and the first league I have seen that had Zero trades all season. I guess everyone was so happy with their teams they just didn't bother. Not a whole lot of suspense here in the last game as the top four are pretty much set now just positioning for the championship run is left. Two weeks per round and it is looking at the moment like Me Vs. Salty and Nate vs. Raffy for the first round. Good Luck!

Mike, I have a KD-650 in Texas that I use after trips to Half Price Books to test my new purchases. It is not a bad turntable especially for the 5 bucks I paid for it at a garage sale. I can't believe what these things are going for online.

I have most of my Pelican cases out with employees so I am not sure how much I will be bringing. If I can get out to Ari's neighborhood this week to pick up the woddied HF-1s I might just bring the Grado HF duo and try to stick the M^3 and ULN-2 in a new Pelican case. I am trying to get a system down for the meet but with everything on my plate this week I can't guarantee it will amount to much.

I have always used Crucial.com but I hear there might be better choices. Someone else will have to provide those.

I get in 7:30 PM Friday on Continental. I will probably have to cab it if the shuttle stops at 8.

Using either Mac Mini USB or AES/EBU passed out of the ULN-2 before processing so I can get a Pseudo firewire output into the PWD.

I have not recorded anything as I have only had it hooked up for a week after getting my cables from Nate. I actually go back and forth whether I prefer the ULN-2 to the AR but I would definitely recommend the ULN-2 as it is just as good for a lot less. I also am using far more expensive cables out of the other DACs for those that think that might make a difference. The PS Audio is capable of fantastic sound on two of the five filters and a bit closer to the others on the other three. The interface is nice and I am leaving it on Native with no upsampling for most use and find it to be a very good source.

Yeah, at this point I would rank them: 1. PS Audio 2. Audio Research DAC7 3. Metric Halo ULN-2 4. Weiss DAC2 5. Apogee Mini DAC After hearing the Amarra 4 at Ciamarra I am convinced that it is in another class than the ones I have now.

No the PS Audio is the best of the ones I have right now so it is not going anywhere. The Weiss, AR and ULN-2 will go long before the PWD.

I got to spend a little bit of time comparing the two and I am now very tempted to upgrade. The ULN-8 would appear to me to be a very special DAC. Although there is the Berkley Alpha that I want to buy also. Need to sell a few of the losers off to fund some more purchases. This DAC stuff is way too difficult.

I will probably show up around Thursday afternoon and leave Sunday night or Monday morning.

All my belt driven turntables can switch back and forth with the push of a button. It was annoying before the SDS(s) though.

As I am in the middle of trying out new speakers for the system I would definitely attend their demo.

I honestly thought I was about half way through when the game ended. Obviously set up for a follow-up game because the story line was far from over when the credits started rolling. I thought it was very short and fairly easy game on the regular setting. Outside of that the graphics and gameplay were fantastic.
