  1. Sarcasm check? This should only ever be posted ironically...
  2. Is Head-Fi down again?
  3. Dammit, for a second I thought she was gluing googly eyes on the outside of her earmuffs...
  4. Good point, there is a bright side to this...
  5. Happy birthday, Jeffy! (party favour noise)

Beyer T-1 on MassDrop for US$840 AKG K712's for as much as US$360 or as little as US$330, depending on number of purchasers (as is how MassDrop works)

I was talking about the electrical wiring.

Tice: "My cable is plenty girthy."
  9. Sorry, this is way too close to shilly. I appreciate you trying to participate elsewhere, but please do not post anything like this again until you have a chance to become as familiar with this forum -- and, more importantly, us with you -- as we are with each other.

No. Have you seen that shit that's in your walls? That's the weak link.
  11. Damn, several good ideas right in that one post. And I just bought cauliflower, with no specific plans for it. And before I saw any of the cauliflower posts in this thread.
  12. What is black garlic?
  13. You all don't use rechargeable batteries in your wireless keyboards and mice? I do. Logitech M570 lasts _forever_ on a single charge. I still hate that it doesn't come in a wired version. In fact, I just wrote to them about it last week (again), after opening up two of my Trackman Wheels, cleaning them out, getting the left and right click buttons working again, but not the scroll wheel (...entirely -- one only goes up, the other only goes down).
  14. Birds and Buildings, Multipurpose Trap -- because awesome (retro prog)
  15. You didn't do any of Sakura Matsuri? My friend Dave with whom I used to go every year had "yellow fever", so all his pics are of cute cosplay girls and idol types.
  16. I see them as "circles" -- there are amps that were only the beginnings of ideas; amps that only he knows; amps that he's shared with his inner circle; amps that have only reached the Island of Dr. Moreau; and amps that are completely rampant.

Thanks, now I have The Who playing in my head, and I don't even like that song. (shudders) What? That looks exactly like the Pelican case I use for my VTGs. Except without the company branding.
  18. Coachella Looking forward to Afghan Whigs in a couple minutes, Goat was pretty cool and trippy Haim is on channel one, though
  19. I did not realize this. That's just stupid -- I explicitly do not want to charge my iPod when listening, I like to run my iPod down then charge it back up again. They should at least make it switchable.
  20. That is simply beautiful to wah...er...look at.
  21. Dammit, I'm not an existing double- or triple-play customer. I may contact them and tell them that if they upgrade me, I promise I won't switch to Fios when it gets added to my neighborhood (which I was recently informed is going to happen).
  22. Creatures of the night, natural pest control, what's not to love? Alright, they're not black...
  23. Someone mentioned New Beat on Facebook, so now I'm listening to these:
