PS Notice the length (5 seconds). Someone's on their meds: -
So true! I told the technician when asked, "are you okay, were you alright in there?": "Yeah, but...that music sucked. And this is coming from someone who has listened to all of Metal Machine Music more than once."

This one ("one" == videotic proof of something WITH ALL CAPS TITLE no less) beats all: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82gJ4zftSjQ -
Made in 2013 (!). Also: contains nudity, blasphemy, drugs, violence...basically, your typical fun little glam metal 80's video:

The Oatmeal put out a request for pictures of B&N displays of the oatmeal. As compensation, he promised to sketch (with artistic license) the first "some" of those posting pics. This guy was late, so he posted a more interesting pic, to try to garner attention. IMHO, he succeeded: The Oatmeal, instead of sketching, made him an animated gif: I would totally: -
Tangram -- this guy is a fairly wonderful old-school style electronic music -- Tangerine Dream/Jean-Michel Jarre/Kraftwerk/Synergy -style instrumentals. Normally I listen to more minor keys than this, but for some reason I find his form of upbeat attitude palatable.

Now I'm going to go and listen to Traffic Experiment, mostly on the strength of this video:

Lou Reed, The Raven -- this is such a bizarre project -- I think he deliberately goes through some very disparate and anachronistic styles with this from (MMM-style) noise ("Fire Music" -- which is -- from a fan of Japanese noise and Dry Lungs/Controlled Bleeding/etc. -- still brilliantly musical) to spoken word radio-style adaptations of some of his work to a very strange reading of "A Perfect Day" to blues and gospel and straight-ahead Lou Reed style music. Love it. Steve Buscemi has some cameos, and I didn't realize he had such a distinctive voice.

Caught up on Arrow and Tomorrow People. Arrow I will continue to watch, the writing does a lot of things right. Yeah, it does a lot of things wrong, too, but the things it does right, I really like a lot. For example, he has to keep secrets. A lot of time this is conveyed by showing his complete non-reaction to something. I love that. Also, Felicity. They give her some of the best lines. I love when she says something totally Freudian like, "I love having you inside me. And by you, I mean your voice, and by inside me, I mean inside my ear." Tomorrow People has the potential to be typical teenage angsty bullshit, it's still on probation. Started Continuum season 2. All the season 2 episode titles have the word, "second" in them, in the same way that all the season 1 episodes have the word, "time" in them.

Phil Western, Dementhol Make sure you also listen to "Best Songs Made in Bed", which is actually a better track. The title track is more experimental.

There's a whole mutating famous male characters into females thing. I don't think, "sassy" is the word for that. -

Unholy carp, 1991? I was an early discoverer, but I don't think even I'd discovered them yet. Oh, just looked it up, according to google they hadn't even started releasing things yet. EDIT: Dan -- they're not there for the entire clip.

Two kittens are on a sloped roof. Which one slides off first? Answer: The one with the lowest mu How can you tell the difference between a chemist and a plumber? Answer: Ask them to pronounce the word "unionized" Two chemists walk into a bar. The first one says, "I'll have some H2O." The second one says, "I'll have some H2O too." The second chemist dies. Heisenberg was speeding down the highway. A police officer pulls him over and says, "Son, do you know how fast you were going?" Heisenberg replies, "No, but I knew where I was..." There are only two hard things in computer science: cache invalidation, naming things, and off-by-one errors. Einstein, Newton, and Pascal are playing hide and seek. It's Einstein's turn to seek, so he covers his eyes and starts counting to ten. Pascal runs off and hides. Newton draws a one meter by one meter square on the ground in front of Einstein, and stands in it. Einstein reaches ten, uncovers his eyes, and immediately says, "Newton, I've found you! It's your turn to seek." Newton smiles and says, "No, you found a Newton over a square meter. You found Pascal!" A Higgs boson walks into a church. The priest says, "We don't allow Higgs bosons in here." The Higgs boson replies, "But without me, how can you have mass?" There's a band called 1023MB. They haven't had any gigs yet.
