  1. Awesome. I totally forgot. Oh, well...
  2. Oh, okay, it was posted as if it was real. Also: lollers that you knew that.
  3. That was my theory.
  4. This is why I hate drugs. Even though I grew up in the 70's and find that whole pot culture high-larious (Cheech & Chong, That 70's Show, etc.), heroin was always a step too far in my mind. And now I hear it's making a resurgence! Fuck drugs. Morphine was awesome.
  5. ...'cause I know I did.
  6. "...suddenly half of empty cranberry juice..."
  7. Just below freezing here. Fuck all y'all shorts-wearing fuckers.
  8. Yeah, Remain in Light almost made it to my list just because I still listen to (most of) it so often, but I usually skip "Once in a Lifetime" (in fact, lately, I just do side 1 + "Houses in Motion"). Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the song that much, I've just heard it too many times. "like" @ In Visible Silence, Zoolook, Colour of Spring, and Chameleons.
  9. Uh, no. There was also that one guy who said at a meet that he liked to come here and troll us every once in a while and had dozens of accounts just for that purpose. I didn't know him, but someone here posted about that. Might be him.
  10. Watch the employee. Looks painful. Although I suspect it's fake, because the things start to fall off the shelf before he hits (over his right shoulder).
  11. It's the classic troll. I think it's the same guy, either Billy or Aaron or someone I don't know.
  12. Happy Birthday, Dinny! (invizibl party favour noise)
  13. A banana hanger will double as a headphone hanger; a banana hammock will not double as a headphone hammock. Alas.
  14. Meh, I prefer my banana hanger. Bed Bath & Beyond.
  15. I kinda really like Iced Earth. They're like Judas Priest wannabes, and that's a good thing.
  16. Brent is the one to beat. So many jokes, mostly of the beating himself variety.
  17. Awesome photobomb: Moar hear -- some of these are extravagent, with detailed woodwork.
  18. I'm a fan of Bill Nelson, but my favourite is my introduction to him, Vistamix. I bought everything I found of his, which ended up being a rather weird cross-section of his music: Chance Encounters..., Blue Moons & Laughing Guitars, etc.
  19. Dvořák , New World Symphony, Sir Colin Davis & RCO On deck: Ein Heldenleben, Strauss, Mariss Jansons & RCO Sibelius' Finlandia, Berliner Philharmoniker & von Karajan Britten, War Requiem, LSO & Chorus, Gianandrea Noseda I was going to listen to Peer Gynt, but ... he's not exactly a vet at anything other than being a scoundrel.
  20. Grado HPA-1 is the obvious choice, though I'd pick something more modern like ... I bet a Benchmark DAC2 would work well.
