Aw, damn, sorry I missed it. You could see inside him and everything. He kept waving until the bitter end. I'm just glad no-one got hurt.
(gleefully) Tee-hee-hee.
Have I ever met Claire? I think not. I <3 pecan pie. My ex makes a killer pecan tart (which is like a bite-size pecan pie, which is what I think you want, Al).
Hi, Douglas, welcome to the forum. I feel the need to put this out there -- I love your and Mira's approach to arranging.
And: sweet, it's a binaural recording? I hadn't listened to it on headphones yet. (Sorry.)
There's a joke in there somewhere...something to the effect of, "...where the rubber did not meet the road..."? Something about wieners and protection? Sliding? Ditches? "I'm gonna drift my wiener smoothly into 'er ditch, bitches love that..."? I've got nothing.
On an unrelated note, I just got a note from Netflix that Farscape is now on Netflix. Obviously the problem is that releaseYearsEquals = false ...should be releaseYearsEquals = true or perhaps even releaseYears = false.:
William Shatner (with Billy Sherwood, Steve Vai, Al Di, Rick Wakeman, Edgar Winter, Edgar Froese, Robby Krieger, George Duke, and others), Ponder the Mystery -- a rather silly prog album
Sympathies for Ozzy. Hope his last several weeks/months/??? are comfortable and relatively painless and high in the quality-of-life department. My last several years with Luvbug were very subdued (she spent very little of that time energetic), but I like to think that her quality of life was pampered-high during that time. I wouldn't trade them (other than -- maybe -- the last day or two) for anything.
Me: funeral, MODC. Epic win, I kid you not. EPIC WIN. Got to see a lot of good people, and share in some very good memories and socializing. And more quality hugs than I can count.
I normally hate funerals. Especially of the highly religious variety -- I just don't know (as a hardcore atheist) how to fit in, and there was only one person and one moment that made me feel out of place, otherwise everyone was very positive and very nice. I even enjoyed (!!!) the screaming babies. It seemed like a celebration of life.
I actually had to get used to a certain source that delivered an unexciting, dry, straightforward presentation. It was actually accurate, and the more I listened to it, the more I realized that it erred towards un-euphonized perfection.
I only heard of Bujalski for the first time the other night -- was trying to explain mumblecore to my sister, which I am only familiar with, myself, theoretically (hadn't actually seen any mumblecore films, according to wikipedia). ( a ) Are you familiar with mumblecore? ( b ) Would you recommend it to me? ( c ) Is this mumblecore?
I love chess, though I have not played in many years. When I did play, I was...adequate. I would actually like to say I'm very good, because I was taught by some greats (my father -- classic two Russians getting together to socialize, talk politics, and play chess), and though I never beat him, I have beaten most every other non-Russian opponent at least once.
I think you were somewhere else -- this is nothing like Head-Fi, with or without anal dildo buttplug. Don't they talk about headphones over there or sumpin'? We're chessplayers. Also, Killing Floor. But mostly chess.
