Not just Jewish -- we're doing Chinese this year, too. It's a grand tradition, I like it. Got my mom into it a couple years ago, she likes the 'not cooking' part.

Wow, I have never had anything that was so good that made me want to say that. Now that's a finish.

Just received Windows 8 Vaio Ultrabook. Win 8, are they kidding me?

Aye, that's what I paid. -

If you go to the speedtest.net site, there's a link for something called TuneUp Utilities -- it actually is pretty good to the point where I bought my own copy. -
Patenbrigade: Wolff, Baustopp! -- you would think from their album cover: ...that they're industrial or sprockets or somesuch, but they're actually very pretty electro, the kind with the words "chill" or "3am" in the title. Varah nahs!

It's not just that, it's just not intuitive. -
Yeah, but I just texted the image to him.

No, I was just trying to pass one along. I went to slower forum, grabbed the image of the cat with the dilating pupils...this one: ...and tried to text it to him, but it wasn't even animated on mine. Try looking at it now on yours, is it animated?

Glad you like. [img=http://www.crf2.com/images/smilies/headbanger.gif] Me: Neurosis, The Eye of Every Storm, Spotify 'EP' version (Burn/Shelter/A Season in the Sky/I Can See You). These guys understand patience and how to build up an atmosphere like Ridley Scott did in Alien, and Talk Talk did on Spirit of Eden. I love that riff at 5:07 in "A Season in the Sky", and the song is half over by then. Including that one dissonant chord that sounds 'off' -- there's something so perfectly 'off' about it. Auto-tune must seem so quaint to them. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love a good blast of an album that doesn't let up, like Shotgun Messiah's Violent New Breed -- but too many other bands don't understand how to contrast dynamics like this. They think, "oh, let's just play a ballad", when what they needed to do instead is to just project -- I don't know what, whatever the mood entails -- malice, grief, transformation, an undercurrent of potential energy, a DC offset, premonition of the heaviness to come...something. NOW OATH BREAKDER SINKS LOW... I mean, they can even make a synthesizer throb heavy...

So I tried to post an animated gif to a friend of mine -- does Android not do animated gifs? It fell kind of flat -- it was that cat with the dilating pupils -- he was telling me I was a hopoholic, and I was posting that pic as a way of agreeing with him -- but alas, all I did was post a picture of a cat to him.

Yeah, I've worked with organizations that received their primary funding on grants. Unfortunately, I don't know you as well -- I just don't know that many givers in real life, go figure. Otherwise I could've tailored it even better. Ah, well... You're a great and generous guy. Seems like the costume has seeped in under your skin. Yay for Vicki, too!

For the Air? EDIT: (does the usual 'wanders off and...' business) EDIT #2: Oh, well look at that. -
We usually lose people when they receive their JH Audio IEM's. For at least a couple days, if not a couple weeks.

Pepper please - suggestions for a pepper mill that is

Wouldn't a finer grind release more flavor when putting a final garnish on a meal? As opposed to cooking with it. I think I would want both -- a coarser grind for cooking, a finer grind for flavor as a last minute garnish. Oh, and agreed -- thanks for posting, very helpful. -
Yup -- accidentally turned it on and couldn't figure out what that stupid tab was that I couldn't get rid of. Have since figured out how to turn it on and off at leisure. Don't use my phone enough to have found a legitimate use for it yet, though. The one you describe seems a good one. Yeah, I'm tempted to jailbreak my phone -- if for no other reason than to get rid of that stupid NFL app. But I'm hoping that the developer edition comes with a development kit. Plus, I prefer the 'legal' way if I can afford it.

I've had Avast! set up for years, but now that you mention it... (wanders off to upgrade from free version to paid version)

http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones/SCH-I605MSAVZW'>Samsung Galaxy Note II, developer edition You know, I just got mine about 10 days ago, I wonder if I could upgrade it without additional cost (meaning as if I never upgraded to the non-developer edition). Sent them (both Verizon and Samsung) a query to that effect.

I'd still do it -- those SSD's are proprietary. -
I can't look at it right now because I'm at work, but http://jhaudio.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1604b07614171d4f9df75011d&id=af1f19b567&e=7685e29fa8'>JH Audio just posted some sale on Facebook.

And it starts... No, dude, seriously, sympathies. Just...don't get anything else, okay?
