  1. Yeah, I would give it a couple more weeks. Hopefully you'll be able to pick it up locally. Total Wine does special orders, you know.
  2. Re: Heresy -- do you get Weyerbacher at all in Florida -- it would seem odd if you do and you didn't get the Heresy, otherwise the supply problem makes sense. Re: price -- I have no idea, I don't remember what I paid, I didn't buy it by the case, though, and I remember it not being cheap. I'll check Total Wine the next time I'm in there. Speaking of checking -- those Sam Adams glasses weren't what I said, they were US$15/pair. Either I was hallucinating, or they were on sale.
  3. Are you sure you wouldn't rather receive the anal? I think even your dogs would have an opinion on that.
  4. Well, you'll have to listen for yourself and tell us.
  5. You're just trying to wind us up.
  6. What is that (the KBS things)?
  7. Yeah, I remember you saying that. I don't mind it, but I understand it's a perfectly legitimate criticism, if subjective. In fact, if you hadn't said that, I don't think I would have had that exact same criticism of something else I had (the nitrous-injected stout at Russian River, I think).
  8. Yeah, I remember that feeling, but now having seen it for $6.99 at several places, I refuse to pay more, but yeah, it's easily the best US$7/bomber beer. Easily. Love it. Me: also had a DFH Indian Brown and a Raisin d'Etre from tap. And yes, I should probably be posting in the "I'm a wee bit drunk" thread. Good thing my coworker was driving.
  9. Probably because I mentioned I was recommended Malbecs, so got some good advice, and the power of suggestion, and all... Watch lovers (Mike, Jeff, et al) -- do you laugh your evil laugh every time you go to eBay and pull up your Watch List? What a totally appropriately named anything.
  10. Weyerbacher Tiny is my favorite $7 beer. Me: dfh namaste from tap Sent from mah Droid
  11. I do it for the nookie.
  12. Nope, they're still wrong -- it's already started.
  13. So...let me get this straight...the end of the world begins on May 21, according to some god-forsaken family radio?
  14. Great, a site that's basically the equivalent of a perpetual woot-off. I'm going to just pretend I didn't see that.
  15. Previous expletive x2. You two both realize you're in the top 1 percentile of your respective countries, don't you? I wish I could live where you work. No I don't, I just wish I had those connection speeds at home. When I let speedtest.net pick the server, it picks something in Florida for some reason: When I pick the one in DC: Yes, we have a weird, fucked up configuration -- Menlo Park (CA) insists on managing our ISP, but I don't get the Florida angle.
  16. I say you get whatever universal player you want and hack a digital input into it. Or build your own. I want to say Electrocompaniet had one, but I'm not finding it on their website. EDIT #2: I think I found another one (Marantz).
  17. Happy (belated) Birthday!
  18. Yeah, that's the holy grail, innit? I'm going with the Oppo BDP-95, myself. Not quite a digital input, but it will take a USB drive. Plus it has networking, I'm wondering if that can be used to read a NAS.
  19. Nice. animated gif, please.
  20. Nothing, but I'm hungry, I should go and eat something.
  21. Actually, they're going a different route -- it's based on potato power and an interesting feature formerly known as the death grip.
  22. Simon & Nick rule. I like how you warned us. Not an expletive, people! Thai Jennifer Lopez doesn't sound anything like Merkin Jennifer Lopez. But she at least looks like her. Thai Simon Cowell doesn't even look like him. Thai ...uh... Drew Carey?...
