  1. Get out of my mind.
  2. Thanks for the heads up, I have to admit to having been curious, will give them a chance. Me: pub dog oatmeal chocolate stout -- I think I better stay away from chocolate beers for a while -- they taste too much like coffee to me -- I'd like to stick to caramel and toffee malts for a while. Except for Southern Tier, of course. And Ommegang. Alright, maybe I better stay away from generalizations for a while. Goddamnit.
  3. @ Appalachian Brewing Company Had: scottish ale -- outstanding Irish red -- outstanding Barleywine -- not bad Stout -- Irish dry, so not my cuppa Wheat -- I liked it a lot ...and the night is young Sent from mah Droid
  4. Atwater Double Down imperial amber -- quite like the King Crimson, as a matter of fact -- too hoppy for me, but blame that on being the third day in a row. If it was a one-off, I probably could have handled it.
  5. This thread has Stax Mafia written all over it.
  6. Me: got a raise, found my other iPod.
  7. Anniversary is better than no anniversary, so how about...congrats on surviving?
  8. Will it blend, self-service soda fountain edition: Boylan's Creme Soda and Boylan's Cane Cola.
  9. Can't you just separate them by commas or semicolons or something?
  10. I'm guessing: the next full moon? Mythology you should know...
  11. Steve -- you should read Steel Remains, I think you'd like it.
  12. Not really sure where to post this question, but thought I might, here: did pitchshifter pre-date dubstep by like over a decade? Every time I hear dubstep, I think back to their www.pitchshifter.com album: I mean, I realize the beats are more dnb than substep, but all that radical pitchbending on the synthesizer work just sort of defined the sound for me. PS I never get tired of this album, despite the fact that the vocals border on nu-metal. It was pre-nu-metal, so I make the association that nu-metal sounds like pitchshifter more than pitchshifter sounds like nu-metal. It's why I chose an instrumental track from the album. But it otherwise fucking rawks. If you think you can get over the vocals, it's worth listening. It's a weird cross of metal, punk, industrial, and dnb. "Please, Sir", "Genius", and "Microwave", in particular, are exemplary. Another (the only other) instrumental:
  13. [dusty]I think they're just pretty pictures. Knucks likes good photography.[/dusty]
  14. No, I think he meant he'd like one pair of each. Or zero. Or two. But I'm thinking one.
  15. I never get tired of that album cover.
  16. Happy Birthday!
  17. Bought it a while ago, but just came in today:
  18. You're not listening to Porcupine Tree when you do that, are you? That looks more like an A Perfect Circle dance.
  19. So did you already put down your deposit?
  20. Well, Metro, but yeah, that's an option, too. But I have already gotten in the habit of using my Droid as my GPS -- I'm very happy with it for that function, and other than the phone, it's its primary use. I already have a problem with clutter, I don't need more devices.
  21. Uh...no. Notice I didn't say "...having anything visible worth breaking in for...", I said, "...having anything worth breaking in for..." -- there's a reason for that -- the car will get broken into (statistically, given enough trips to said venues), I'd rather not have anything stolen as well. TBH, the safest thing you can do is have a completely empty, POS car, with it being visibly empty -- including leaving the glove compartment open. I don't go that far, but I know people who do (or at least say they do).
