  1. Bought it a while ago, but just came in today:
  2. You're not listening to Porcupine Tree when you do that, are you? That looks more like an A Perfect Circle dance.
  3. So did you already put down your deposit?
  4. Well, Metro, but yeah, that's an option, too. But I have already gotten in the habit of using my Droid as my GPS -- I'm very happy with it for that function, and other than the phone, it's its primary use. I already have a problem with clutter, I don't need more devices.
  5. Uh...no. Notice I didn't say "...having anything visible worth breaking in for...", I said, "...having anything worth breaking in for..." -- there's a reason for that -- the car will get broken into (statistically, given enough trips to said venues), I'd rather not have anything stolen as well. TBH, the safest thing you can do is have a completely empty, POS car, with it being visibly empty -- including leaving the glove compartment open. I don't go that far, but I know people who do (or at least say they do).
  6. Ban self plzkthxbye.
  7. Will it blend, dining out edition: Raisin d'Etre/Chicory stout Rd'e goes with anything Sent from mah Droid
  8. Well, alright, when you say it like that...of course. (waves hands vaguely in typical superior know-it-all fashion)
  9. Wait, aren't you distracted by the BJ?
  10. Hippity Burpday!!!1!
  11. Snarky response #2: MM == Mo' Money? Pop quiz -- we had the Windows decompression function show up a bug recently, wherein the decompressed file was 800PB, and there were ten of them. The guy works from home, and we're pretty sure he doesn't have a disk farm greater than 8 ??. So the question is, what comes after petabyte? (You can easily look up the answer, but how many of you people already knew the answer before looking it up?)
  12. I, for one, prefer having it in my phone. I often take my car someplace where I don't feel comfortable having anything in it worth breaking in for, and wouldn't want to have to carry two units during those times (concerts, for example -- I have had my car broken into while at the 9:30, which is right around the corner from Black Cat, two of my most frequent venues).
  13. Anyone who's ever received a good BJ knows what's involved, too.
  14. MM == megamillions? E.G. you have to win 1.5 megamillions to afford that second one?
  15. For EMS, I saw on the e_select_delivery_method_currency page a price of USD 4,120 quoted (it does the conversion for you).
  16. Finished Woken Furies -- liked. Finished Rosemary and Rue, A Local Habitation, and An Artificial Night. Seanan McGuire is easily my favorite recent discovery. She's not perfect, but I find myself just whizzing through her books, feeling very involved, caring for what happens to whom, and in particular, I really love the long-term relationships she sets up. There's one that is set up from the very beginning as a love/hate thing, but she tells us through action rather than thought or narrative. I mean, eventually even Toby (the main character) realizes that the feelings run deeper than what she initially believed, but the actions come first, the thoughts afterward. Started Steel Remains. Will probably start Late Eclipses shortly.
  17. King Crimson -- I definitely like it. It's an imperial amber, and hence, hoppier than I would usually take to, but...I actually think it's more bitter than hoppy, but it's that clean bitter/hoppy that I like so much in for example, My Antonia, Sierra Nevada XXXth Anniversary Barleywine, and the Terrapin/Left Hand IPA collaboration thingy. But it's a little on the thin side, so I doubt I'll get it again.
  18. Why cats rule: See, that's the fierce kiss-my-ass attack. Why dogs rule: Pretty much a tie.
  19. The 1200 is black.
  20. So technically, there is no plural, since it's not a noun, but there's only one LEGO® company, and Steve's statement would be more correctly "...how many LEGO bricks...?"
  21. I don't think hardly anyone here has heard the Phiaton anything.
