  1. I'm a 'maybe'.
  2. They're supposed to be TEH AWSUM, though I've never heard them myself. Quite a few of those who've tried it don't go back to anything else, they spend the rest of their time upgrading their amps. So although I would say the fanboyism is raving mad, I wouldn't say they were rabid, as they don't spend a lot of energy waxing eloquent about how much they like their speakers. I suspect this is because they are too busy actually listening to their speakers.
  3. If it's any consolation, that's one of the few beers I've preferred out of the bottle. And I only had it once on tap, though I went out of my way to do so.
  4. congrats! Yeah, end of something that took that much of your life is always going to be followed by a severe anticlimax/period of boredom/wondering what to do with yourself period. It'll pass.
  5. Yeezh. Hang on to something, guys.
  6. That was going to be my next guess.
  7. thai custard?
  8. Do you insulate your pipes? I have found that helps, tanked or tankless. I have to admit, I know nothing about tankless, but have wanted one and am intrigued by the notion ever since I heard of it, so will be lurking in this thread.
  9. [mom mode]Be careful you don't catch pneumonia, Duggeh. That's just how it happens.[/mom mode]
  10. No, but if you can track down a GW Labs DSP, it'll downconvert.
  11. No, but you may need better, moar linear, less jitter-prone RAMses.
  12. Anathema, Hindsight -- there is something about metal bands doing non-metal music that often turns out really interesting to me -- as in, can keep my interest over more than one listen. This one has definitely grown on me. I will have to admit to not "getting" A Natural Disaster when it first came out -- I really dig the material from that one now. Other interesting bands that have really "broken out" -- Ulver, The Gathering (I'm specifically thinking of Home, in their case).
  13. It's not rocket science...or is it?
  14. Hope you're having a good one!
  15. Go for the cheddar. (Mission: Impossible theme) Me: sushi. Spicy tuna roll is spicy (and not very tightly rolled).
  16. Other than the dance numbers, of course. Yeah, I that album. Sent from mah Droid
  17. I'm surprised larry fast's pink notes isn't mentioned on that page. Sent from mah Droid
  18. I lollered -- the ending caught me completely off guard. I'm forwarding that to my (xbox) gaming buddies. Sent from mah Droid
  19. Do it. The one they did to me was two $200+ charges on the same day, and one of them didn't even end up being mine, I don't think. (It ended up getting canceled, and the shipment I received ended up matching the one charge.)
  20. There's power in poo.
  21. My favorite guys I ever met were God Lives Underwater -- totally entertaining fellows. They're a lot like what I am online -- just lots of tangents, silliness, disposable humor, and whatnot, and you wonder how they get anything done. The person I was with (the real journalist -- I was just a hanger-on) had to throw out the interview, she said there wasn't enough in it, and it wasn't worth the hassle of editing. I laughed. She later fired me. In hindsight, I probably deserved it (wasn't exactly qualified).
  22. I think I even picked it up from CMJ:NMM.
