(a) I love that song, so it gets an automatic pass; ( he's playing bass, and in the long shots, you can actually see his right hand moving, and in the medium shots where you can see his left hand, he's playing one-note bass, so it would make sense to a layperson/non-bass-player that his hand doesn't move around.
