I think Macs are cool, just never had the desire. I have been building my own PCs for awhile and I like the flexibility. If I go the MH route, a mini with a touch for remote would be very sweet. I am going to try to demo both the prism orpheus and a ULN-8 at the same time.

Nevermind, I just found out that Vintage King demos their gear so i will use them. Very convenient since the rep lives very close to me and even brings me the gear.

Does MH demo their gear?

My only concern with units from MH or Sonic is that I am locked into Mac, of which I have never owned or wanted to own. I recently did create a hackintosh on an old computer and laptop. I am going to demo a Prism Orpheus soon to see what that is like. Have you heard one of those Al or JP? I would also like to demo the LIO and the Antelope Audio Zodiac plus that is coming out next month. Choices, choices.

We have 2, a HotTop and a Behmor 1600, and go through about 5 lbs. a week, 3 roasts.

Home roasting is the way to go if you can swing it. I am lucky enough to have a group of guys who buy in bulk, 130 lbs. at a time. Lasts six months but is single origin. We like it. Ends up costing $2.50 - $3.50/lb. I am willing to sell some at cost if people are interested. I have Organic Ethiopian Sidamo right now, a bright fruity cup. Interested JP?

OK, I think I will suggest the A5 or the Quads. Does she need anything else to connect the ipod to either of these? I know nothing of ipods. Velo, I think she already has something akin to that and she wants to move up a bit. Thanks.
