I don't know the dimensions, but Todd had one at canjam, and it's pretty big. The box is the same for all of them, but the inserts change based on whether you get it for gs1000/ps1000/rs1/sr etc

I'm a big fan of mogami or canare star quad and neutriks -
It's been a LONG time since I had them, as you know The things the VTG does well, the HF2 doesn't do at all, so in that way, they're complementary.

Uhm, that's hard to say. The HF2 is significantly better, and less closed, but it's also more open . It's also got that amazing grado comfort
