Quaker Instant Oatmeal ( Apple & Cinnamon ) My wife hadn't made steel cut, which is the oatmeal I generally eat. I was looking to settle my stomach. Hope it works.

one variant on my current rig works for under $500. Luxman LV113 - $100 Apple Airport Express - $100 Grado SR225 - $145 HTD Level 3 bookshelf speakers - $125 leaves $30 for speaker and optical cables -
I got mine from tooleaudio. It's warmish, but I didn't have that bass bloom knob installed.

I mostly don't even notice commercial breaks anymore... with my directv dvr, I just skip 4 times, if there's no show yet, I do it again.

Use rcas while making the XLRs It has nice balancing transformers in it, you'll get a little less volume, but I don't think that'll be a problem with the headphones you own.
