This was pretty extraordinary. Sat in the kitchen and none of the chefs looked more than half my age. [emoji53]

It's good. [emoji106]

Yes the Aston electrics etc. are generations behind, as is their horrible auto manual gearbox. But the stick with the big V12 is magic. Sadly no longer an option with the latest generation cars.

The Blue Nile -- A Walk Across The Rooftops

This rang a few bells.

If I could have one car just to drive for fun, with no practicality considerations whatsoever, I would get a manual V12 Vantage.

OK, that's embarrassing.

While we're all here, HP 30 versus HP 25 worth the splurge? And any thoughts on Old Pulteney 21? Ah thank yew.

Can't help it, you're sort of a wine Christ figure. "Wheresoever cork is withdrawn from bottle. There also shall I be."

Pulp -- His 'N' Hers

Has anyone ever told you that you are very diplomatic?

I say go for it if it makes you happy. There's no end to the debate about relative value -- only you can decide what's worth it to you. Also kind of like the idea of a megabucks DAC in a headphone rig.

Don't eat chips, but even if I did I wouldn't eat these fucking chips.

Hey, I got my @mac.com email address back in the latest El Cap update, as mysteriously as it had disappeared from the server list. Thanks Obama Apple!

New Order -- Brotherhood

Jenny Lewis -- The Voyager

Current top recommended playlist for me is: The Musical Dialogue of Gilmore Girls. Probably need to listen to more metal.
