    Yes the Aston electrics etc. are generations behind, as is their horrible auto manual gearbox. But the stick with the big V12 is magic. Sadly no longer an option with the latest generation cars.

    Went to try the London version of Les 110 de Taillevent today. Just opened and still shaking out, but 110 wines by the glass and this is the somm. Greg, you would like it!

    As far as I can tell, the new EPA assertions apply only to 3.0 TDI engines in the Cayenne, Touareg and Q5 etc. But VW has now admitted it may have a problem with CO2 emissions as well, so who knows where that will ultimately lead.

    I say go for it if it makes you happy. There's no end to the debate about relative value -- only you can decide what's worth it to you. Also kind of like the idea of a megabucks DAC in a headphone rig.
