If it's out of warranty you're going to pay either way and probably wait a long time. Servicing is the dirty secret of the whole industry. Shelly, mine used to do that in SA when we got power surges. Screen flicks off, WTF?, "Bong!", reboot. No expert but think the logging you're seeing is just because there were processes that were running when it hard quit and it's going to note that those weren't properly shut down.

Went through a cloverleaf so fast in a Carrera 4S today that my pubes are now at least twice as curly. With active damping and 4WD, that thing sticks to road like you would not believe. The problem, I think, is that when you do finally step over the line it's all going to let go at once. I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm sideways, I'm backwards, I'm through the hedge, I'm upside down, I'm on fire.

RWD is fine here, we had maybe 4 flakes of snow this winter. The porkers are a lot more expensive and hard to find in 4S config because they made most of the recent production run into gimmicky GTS with nasty alcantara dashboards. Thankfully, I am not the decision maker ...

I took an American friend to Lord's to watch England play New Zealand at cricket and (more or less) explained the game to him. He was polite about it and enjoyed seeing all the old chaps in their MCC getups knocking back champers for breakfast. Stereotypes confirmed!
