  1. I use a Ringke SLIM Lite on my S3. Works well and was cheap. Pretty sure that I got it from Amazon.
  2. Yup, the investment is low enough that even if it fails you're not out much vs. replacement.
  3. Got in a nice 25 today and as long as it's not raining tomorrow morning I'll be riding into work. It was very good to be back out on the road bike again and while I took it pretty easy I was also able to very comfortably average a pretty quick pace for the loop.
  4. Nicely done, Brent.
  5. Happy birthday Chris!
  6. both of you can talk to my wife and let me know how that works out. My standards are low enough my better half's are not.
  7. There's no way I could mulch unless I was mowing twice a week.
  8. Yes, it is a large pile. I run a triple bag power-flo bagger system and I'd wager I emptied it 10 times today. The consequence of the bagger needing repairs and not getting to mow for two weeks. And that's with the irrigation system turned off.
  9. 3hr marathon mowing session after work, belch.
  10. A few months back I bought a used NAS device on here and initially I had no issues getting it setup and recognized on my network for use as a media server to get files streamed or copied to my PS3. In the beginning it would recognize the NAS drive as a media server with no associated software and would also recognize the Twonky media server that was also installed on the NAS. About a month ago the PS3 started randomly not connecting with the drive or would connect and then lose the connection quickly causing dropouts and major annoyance. But Twonky still recognized just fine, until tonight that is. Now, I can't get that to recognize. Now all the time every other device in the house has been able to see the NAS just fine and Twonky is giving no indication that it isn't running just fine, hell I used it last night to stream downloaded media content. Now, nothing and nothing has changed in the last 12 hours. The PS3 still dutifully recognizes the other NAS drive that I have on the network, but that's where I keep bulk, long term storage and not where I want to start transferring media to. This is beyond frustrating, any suggestions?
  11. Happy Belated Birthday!
  12. Left straight from work, not about to bring a video camera onto the island unless I want it to be my last day at work. I promise there will be videos.
  13. Got the first MTB ride of the year in. Tons of fun, definitely need to get back in tune with the bike and work on bike handling but I was pleasantly surprised with my perceived level of fitness.
  14. This!

  16. Got home last night to test the freshly cleaned carb on the tractor. One pull, fired right up, yay! arriving soon in a post near you, Nate mowing the lawn. And sweet raise! I'd be psyched to get 2% this year, which seems unlikely given the budget shenanigans that continue to go on in Washington. Right now a 5% cut is what I'm looking at.
  17. Just finished cleaning the carb on the power-flo vac system attached to the tractor which will hopefully allow me to commence my annual torture, pardon, mowing sessions to begin later this week/weekend. It would only run with the choke on but the fuel supply to the carb itself seemed good so I'm hopeful that there was something stuck in there and that I managed to get it out. The neighbors and my own kids would probably be nonplussed if I attempted to quantify the results right now.
  18. I'm finally feeling well enough to ride again, now I just need time. Hopefully I can get out for a quick ride some night this week as it is finally light enough out after dinner to safely ride. Still not as warm as one would like for the middle of May but a far cry from the temps of a month ago.
  19. I've actually started using more gears on the little ring, finally finding that spinning a higher rpm going up hills is working better.
  20. I need to get back on the bike, life has really been getting in the way lately...
  21. Better late than never, happy birthday!
  22. Picked up a new-in-box soft top for the Jeep.
  23. Happy Birthday, Ari!
  24. Life is very much a "pick your poison" proposition so no, no one here is going to give you grief if you decide to do that. And most of us agree that at this point that this is pretty far from a headphone forum.
