  1. I think a recent forum update has started putting semi-annoying auto links into common phrases/keywords. I noticed it a few days ago but it doesn't seem very consistent.
  2. Woot to Peter and Raffy for good (if not great) news.
  3. Jeff, I've got two of their older messenger style bags. The Roadrunner looks sweet, but I have no direct experience with it. What I can say is that their bags are very well built, but are similar to Red Oxx in their function over form philosophy. I find their bags attractive, but some would say that are overly utilitarian.
  4. http://www.baileyworks.com/ For short rides I like these bags. For longer stuff nothing beats the comfort of a backpack for rme.
  5. I will live a content and complete life never having done business with that asshat. That said I have never heard a stock 325 that I liked all that well. I'd sell them and buy a used pair of HF1s.
  6. Crikey, it's 70 here today. I had an off-island site visit this morning which made it particularly painful to come back to the office.
  7. Any interest in roasting a few pounds and selling them like that? I have neither time nor desire to roast at home right now, unfortunately.
  8. Looks good to me. What are the plans for an attenuator?
  9. Goddamn that's hot, Raffy.
  10. I definitely would not have handled that situation as well as you did CJ. Fucktard seems inadequate for those 2.
  11. I broke 100 this week for the first time, pretty much by accident. I'm kicking the crap out of last year so far. Hopefully that's a trend that will continue. The weaker is looking nice for a commute tomorrow so I'll be on the road shortly after 6am.
  12. Glad to hear that you're doing so well, Vicki. I'm headed out for a quick 17 now myself.
  13. Got out for a good 24. I've been trying to dial it back and not push as hard and with the exception of a mile or two on this ride I managed that pretty well today.
  14. Happy Birthday Ryan!
  15. Mike, Bummer that you'll be that close, but still out of reach. It is a pretty decent haul from Lake Placid.
  16. It's been pretty dry up here so far this spring so the trails should be in pretty decent shape. I'm actually going to try to get a look at part of the loop Ian and I rode a few times last year to see how much of a mess the winter left it. I too am very much looking forward to hitting the trails again. In roadie news I'm going to try to get out for a ride today since we kicked the kids out for the night to celebrate my wife's birthday.
  17. Nice Chris, every little bit helps.
  18. Happy Birthday, Kevin!
  19. Ugh, same day as the three notch century that I'm already committed to riding.

    Deals

At least Amazon appears to be handling this in a proactive manner, unlike other online vendors who had to be strong-armed into doing the right thing.
  21. Well dang, look at that. The calfee probably won't work then. (
  22. Longer reach with less drop might not be the end of the world. I'm surprised your TT is so short, Mike. Mine on the Roubaix is 582mm so I wasn't so freaked out by the 59cm, but if the Gunnar has a 54.5cm TT that would seem really short for a guy your size - in my head anyway. Are you sure you aren't thinking of the seat tube?
  23. Chris, if that bike had looked like yours I probably would be thinking differently. But it just so happens that I don't particularly like yellow. So I guess I'll just have to wait for another deal like this to come along in my next life time.
  24. So after some serious deliberation last night I'm going to pass on the Calfee. I tend to let my heart dictate purchases like this and that Calfee, while a amazingly good deal, just doesn't tug the right string to get me motivated to dump the Roubaix (which I do love). What I hope happens out of this is that Gene gets in touch with Mike and that he jumps on it. There's no way that thing should leave Florida.
