  1. Happy bday Brent! Eat some cinnabuns for us.
  2. Happy bday Jin .
  3. Bought these yesterday at Beers Of The World in Rochester. Added the Nugget Nectar solely because of Emelius. I like how you can't find Bourbon County Stout anywhere in Chicago, where it's brewed, but multiple stores have cases of the stuff over here (and 2009 vintage nonetheless).
  4. Definitely CAN'T get this in Illinois.
  5. Congrats Nate, awesome news!
  6. Count me in.

  13. So so very happy to discover that my local place still had some of these in the reserves, albeit with a 1 bottle limit. Also bought a single bottle of Bell's Oberon just because.

  18. Here's a few words of wisdom... neither you nor Nwav understand this site. At all. Our tone has nothing to do with power-tripping or the like. It'll take you a while to really figure that out, as it does for most, if you choose to stick around here.
  19. More like truth.
  20. 'Aye. It was the main reason I wanted to switch to the 4 over my 3GS. Successfully resisted that one.
  21. No more undergrad classes. Break tomorrow for study day then finals - one on Thursday, one Friday, senior presentation Saturday, and two on Monday.
  22. BT - Movement in Still Life
  23. Man fuck this thread. Every time I catch up with it I find myself making further plans to spend money I don't have.
  24. I guess here's where I show my age. On 9/11, I was in my 7th grade technology class when my teacher, Mr. Coop, walked into our lab and explained what had happened. I'll never forget how he struggled to describe the events taking place. I couldn't blame him. He was in his 60's and overcome with the magnitude of the attack. How could he possibly translate this to a bunch of 13 year old's? School was a half day. My sister and I got home and spent the next few hours glued to the tv with my parents. Honestly, I don't even know exactly when I began to comprehend 9/11... surely not until high school. Everything felt very different for me; I was so goddamn innocent. ~~~ All I can really say about last night's pandemonium is props to the intelligence groups and military who got this mission completed. I'm going to ignore all the political aftermath bullshit that's spreading like wildfire in the media and view this as justice for everyone affected by Osama's lunacy. Kinda worried about backlash from sleeper cells at this point. I'm in agreement with Canada's Prime Minister - "sober satisfaction" about sums it up for me.
