Fair enough. I am happy with my HD800.

YMMV but I had a pair O2 mk1 with a Headamp built KGSS (which I would consider a pretty good amp) and I found them dark, and that's basically why I got rid of them.

My understanding is the 800E is designed to work with special Nikon software on the computer to get rid of the issues pointed out. That makes it a PITA for some people's workflow in particular but I'm pretty sure the issues mentioned there will be dealt with.

I actually did catch and release (so hopefully not a murderer) that said I'll definitely do catch and cook soon.

On Saturday: Fishing on my boat with my dog, wife and son on a dead quiet lake. So So awesome!

Over the weekend I finally got out fishing and actually caught 3 fish on the boat:

My work upgraded my laptop from 2GB to 4GB of RAM and it's honestly like having a new machine. So much better. Had not realized how badly it was choking before.
