Happy Belated to all the HC Dad's! I had a great first one, including a nice call with my Dad in the morning. Also my thought's go out to all of you that were without your Dad's for the first time.

I'm out. We're hosting some of Meaghan's friends down at the lake house and riding a century out that way that weekend.

Yup. Set the Nikon to focus priority, crank up the shutter speed to 1200-1600 (or higher), turn on auto Iso and set the focusing to be wherever is in the frame and you'll be ok. I used to use that for flight photos and it worked well. Now I haven't touched my SLR in months.

I am interested (surprise surprise). If Amtrak was a little more bike friendly I'd be even more interested.... Edit: Seeing if my wife is interested in coming for a family weekend. I guess we could drive or Amtrak does appear to have checked bag options.
