  1. I still want them to release a D400.
  2. Happy Birthday!
  3. Yeah the pics from that are amazing.
  4. D800 has leaked: http://www.engadget.com/2012/02/06/nikon-d800-slips-out-for-an-early-bird-preview-to-be-officially/ hmmm
  5. I am open to a "mayberry mid atlantic" meet if people are interested. The only issue being that it's out in the boonies and there isn't much very nearby but we could all go to Kings Dominion Just looked and there are even hotels about 15 min drive away.
  6. If you look at a bunch of the manuals for the good converters they are very clear that all clock and digital signals need to be carried with correctly terminated and impedance matched cables. They do make an effort. Maybe not enough but they do.
  7. ^ Agree. That's why I posted the first one with my ugly mug instead
  8. Thanks guys. I only basically drove it over to one set of docks then moved it to another set because I wasn't sure I was allowed to use the reserved docking as yet. It was flat out awesome to be out on the water with my wife and boy, with some nice music going. It was cold so we were the only boat out but it's going to be nice regardless. One more pic showing the setup and my family (not on our lake though this is the much bigger Lake Anna): Last one. Sorry I'm just stoked,
  9. Appears it's supposed to be a 110ohm twisted pair cable. I don't think people bother with that in non-pro audio though and yes if impedance isn't matched you're going to have issues.
  10. Crappy spidif optical. At least I don't need to worry about impedance matching and or ground loop issues (I've had many with conductor based digital). Of course my Bel Canto dac reclocks (the Behringer is slaves to the input signal though).
  11. Glad you liked it Boomy. That's awesome. I would recommend that you probably plan on doing a initial fitting and then after a couple months and you've gotten more flexible another fitting to dial in your fit. I loved my Retul fit (motion trackers etc) but they are expensive. Pic from Satuday (I don't know if facebook pics work to the wider world but I can't access flickr from work):
  12. Happy (Super) Birthday!
  13. Went out to put chlorine in my soft tub type hot tub to find that a sink hole had formed under it. Drained it and moved it the loaded 1000 lbs of sand and base in the hole. Now it's back in place and being filled. Here's hoping this band aid lasts.... Owning stuff is nice but can be a massive pain in the ass.
  14. Without trailer for now. The dealer gave us a price guarantee for a future purchase if we so desire.
  15. Took delivery of our new pontoon boat
  16. That web site is fucked up
  17. ^ Congrats ? Woke up coughing (which I have done for the last 2 weeks) and saw that my e-file had been rejected because turbotax online can not figure out how to fill in form 8938 and even though I filled the fields it asked for in it was not filled in correctly by the software. After I figured out that the form wasn't even required I have re-filed mytaxes.
  18. That would not work out for us but I'm glad it does for you. I was just stating what I did not that it's the only way to get a refund.
  19. +2 the lost interest is less than I spend on lunches in the average week. Not with the worry and effort.
  20. well we do withholding with no deductions so that we always get a refund. Worked out it costs me 60 bucks a year in lost interest.
  21. Filed mine just now. Going to pay down most of my boat
  22. Happy Birthday!
  23. ^ Good point!
