Baby-Fi: Car Seat addition
We got the Peg Perego Pliko Switch Compact Modular Travel System with car seat, stroller base, stroller seat, bassinet and bassinet stand. It is the awesome and works great for us (folds small and is compact for our city lifestyle). Ben is still sleeping in the bassinet in our room though that's going to change soon:

The Tifosi work really well and respond pretty quickly. I've never had much of an issue but I don't ride in conditions that dangerous often. The Oakley stuff is probably a bit faster but I can buy like 5 pairs for the same price. I can't see any CA or other optical issues with them at all and they hold on to my face well even when I'm wearing winter hat under my helmet. Years of being a sailor (where how good your optics are doesn't matter because they are getting salt on them) has made me agnostic to high end glasses for sports. That said I want Oakley Jawbones with the photochromatic lens.... Will not be getting them as I rather get a new helmet or something.

Cool. I gave up on Oakley a while ago for riding and just use the photocromatic Tifosi glasses. They aren't probably as perfect as oakley's but I can by a new pair for less than the cost of lenses.

Looking good CJ. Isn't "really really liking" someone grand me: Figured out prepaid education pricing. Tonight I'm going to have to start brushing up again for my citizenship test in a week and getting all my passport forms etc sorted out as well.

Rode 40 miles or so in the glorious weather in a shop ride. Then had a nice late lunch at Bertucci's. Now off to church with my wife for the first time in over a year. Feels good together back riding and we'll see about church.

Win. Not picking on Larry but that behavior pisses me off. Recently went riding with a guy on a $6k+ bike that was bitching about the $60 USA Cycling membership fee.....

Glad your hip is doing well. Did a 3+hr grouip ride (3000 cal+) in the morning on 2 bottles of Gatorade, a Gu and a breakfast bar. That was a swift kick in the nuts with a lot of climbing. I did not eat anything on my return (saving up for turkey). Around 5pm we ate turkey and stuffing. Still going to put on a ton Happy Thanksgiving All!

And now what did you do TODAY?
Yesterday I finally started back doing my regular 40km evening ride on the trainer. It felt really good to feel bad. Here's hoping I stick with it this time and continue losing the 35-40lbs I have to re-lose. It's just so easy for me to pack it on and that took about 4 months. I have to actively diet to maintain weight and I know lots of people do (not looking for sympathy but it sucks). I can't wait until I get my new cycling shoes though, I'm really getting tired of these ones. Two years of numb feet is starting to piss me off.
