Figured out that the guys who did my sway bar install 1) installed it wrong 2) forgot to properly tighten the bolts on one side. I managed to get the bolts out, install them correctly and tighten them. This was the source of the clunking that has been driving me nuts for months. Super happy! I wish people would do stuff right the first time.

Ethanol treatment is worth every penny and should be used every single time. Sta-Bil has been good for me.

Nate the Kuat are super nice looking but too big and heavy for my use. I can understand your concern about the aesthetics of the 1up. I have until Tuesday to make up my mind. I am leaning towards just returning the whole lot after some unplanned fishing expenses.

That's not going to happen. I want the silver with the white car and I don't have to worry about scratches nearly as much.

So the rack came and as expected is wonderfully machined and very cool. I am wavering on the return. I have decided to still get the hitch but due to a conflict I now won't get it until the 11th. First world problems. Used the Bones 2 to take the Giant to work today and it worked just fine. But it did start to wobble a bit at higher speeds on the way home and interfered with the trunk closing until I fiddled with it more. Basically down to the cost of piece of mind.

The 1up shipped already.. I know if I open the box I'm keeping it... Dammit

They're the headphones Kevin. I'm an oddity in that I like the Sony Professional sound and I really love these headphones. Best dynamic closed phones I've heard (though there are lots I haven't heard).

It also interested me but my Sony MDR-7520 can't be balanced without modification it appears. I guess I'm sticking with my trusty AE-2 at work.

That's fair advice. I have a hitch on the Honda and a hanging hitch rack that fits that I used to use on my Odyssey but would not allow my trunk to open on the Ford (or the Honda for that matter). The 1up is way nicer and would be a great upgrade but is hard to justify the cost if installing this rack takes about 3 minutes.

It's being used for a 16 mile commute to get my bike to work. That said I plan to mostly take the Giants (TCR and TCX). I used it for 200+ miles with 2 bikes on it a while back with no issues. There is no security.which is not an issue in this use. It's $500 that I rather spend elsewhere.
